I love that you don’t feel the need to overnight and rush the videos of the “new” releases. I always wait until I see you review the new foundations but seriously if you are someone like me who watches beauty RUclips content...there is a very good chance you have plenty of makeup and there is no need to rush to purchases. I clicked on your video because of the Tartelette palette. You are one of only a few beauty "vloggers" that I follow. Just personal preference, so I was excited to see you using it. Have been so on the fence with purchasing it. I love Tarte shadows, but have the Huda Beauty "New Nudes" and Charlotte Tilbury "Pillow Talk" and think they look a wee bit similar. . And will be checking out that Jane Iredale concealer, because I have been looking for one with an SPF. That look is gorgeous on you!
Thanks so much Deb!!! I don't have the Huda Beauty, but I would say some of the colors are similar to the pillow talk larger palette from CT, but I do find them to be a bit different enough. That is just my justification talking though. LOL
I wound up buying that palette. I had an Ulta gift card burning a hole in my pocket and even though I don't need one more palette, I bought it. It's so pretty! :D

Gorgeous look! I love watching your eye looks especially because I have light blue eyes. Not to mention your foundation colors are always exactly spot on for me. So pretty much everything you choose looks good on me. Your tutorials have really helped me get away from using so much eyeliner that was so popular in the 80’s lol 😂!!!!! It does make my eyes look smaller to pack that thick line in the top, and bottom like we were taught to do.!!! I’ve definitely been using more shadows for sure, and going back to tight lining, and water line- I’m the one that mentioned the bronzer/blush from 4 years ago. I enjoy going back sometimes watching old tutorials to see how much things have changed. I love it so much 💕 I ordered it last night. I still love it on you. It was perfect for this look. Some of the oldies are still amazing as we see!!!You have done some great tutorials lately. I’m definitely going to try some of my powder foundations, again thanks to you, and will probably order a few of your favorites in those as well..... Have you tried the new Fenti powder foundation. I told myself that the absolute last thing that I needed was another powder foundation, but I caved. And it will be in my faves this month. @@MandyDavisMUA also never try that maskara makeup. I bought all of it, and it was terrible, and a waste of money. I used it to try to get a feel of it, and they would not let me return or get new colors. 😡
Gorgeous look! At the moment I'm playing with the Chantecaille powder foundation. Since my skin is so dry, I do have to amp up the moisture/hydration before applying but I don't mind. I can't wait for my order from Harben House to arrive so I can try the new Jane Iredale Enlighten plus all the other stuff I HAD to have after watching your Courtney video.

I can't decide on getting the Tarte Juicy palette. The reviews are so mixed. I'm hoping that none of the shades lean towards gray. Would love your full review, please?
I definitely (at least in the 10 or more shades that I have tried so far) had any gray come through from the shadows. I will likely be talking about it more in my faves this month. :)

The Jane iredale concealer looks like the colorescience total eyes spf . Do you think it’s coverage is similar?
I want to know this, too! The JI is less expensive, which is a plus. I’m currently using the Colorescience. I also own the enlighten in the pot and love it.
The applicator and spf are the same, but I find the texture to be different (jane is a bit thicker), but because of that, the Jane has way more coverage in my opinion than the colorescience, so it would just come down to preference on texture and coverage. Hope this helps!

Same old brands over and over and over again, you and Brianna Stanko are the most original ones with new great brands ive never heard of or that are unpopular but great. Im so tired of the same top 3 brands being shoved down our throats to buy and this youtubers getting free trips and gigantic PR boxes theyll never use.

Hi Mandy. Just got my Chantecaille cushion foundation and can’t wait to try it. What shade in the Clinique concealer do you use? I really enjoy that formula as it’s doesn’t make my textured under eye look worse!!
I am CM40 in the clinique concealer...it is pretty much my exact skintone. I keep meaning to try it as an all over foundation since the texture is so nice!
I believe the Chantecaille HD Powder formerly came in Bronze as well, which was a deeper shade but still seemed to be on the lighter-side & perhaps cooler....likely for medium to medium-deep skin tones. I don’t know if they’re still offering that shade or if it was discontinued b/c I looked around for it (as I’m a medium olive skin tone) & thought it might work for me but couldn’t locate it. It’s possible that some department stores (like Neiman’s or Saks, etc.) COULD still have some inventory but I don’t know for sure.
I am hoping if someone is really wanting that shade, they are able to find it at a department store of some kind. I do find they tend to have more stock of older items, so here is to hoping.
What is the main difference between the Jane enlighten concealer and the new concealer? I own the enlighten, and I didn't know if I needed the new Jane one!☺️thanks! Love the new background!❤️

Hi Mandy! I am actually trying to decide on an eyeshadow pallette. How are you liking the dose of colors browns palette? I was debating between that one and one of the Jane Iredale actually. I usually do pretty natural makeup looks and I like more neutral colors. My eyes are a light brown. Do you enjoy the Jane Iredale daytime palette, naturally matte pallet, the dose of colors palette or another one you might recommend? I don't typically prime my eyes and all of that. I would love your help! Love your videos thank you for taking the time to be so detailed and informative!
I have had the Dose of Colors browns for ages, and it is a great basic palette if you tend to go more towards mattes than shimmers or a mixture. They do lean a little warmer than the Jane Daytime Palette and Naturally matte, so if you like more a neutral I would go with one of those two. All three are great quality and perform really well, so I don't think you would be unhappy purchasing any of them.
Ugh 😫😩 it hurts my eyes to see people apply Cushion Foundation without using the Cushion Puff that comes with it. There is a really good reason and Purpose why Cushion Foundations comes with a Cushion Puff as its main tool. I feel like a Cushion Foundation is useless if people don't use the Puff it comes with it and it should be just a Liquid Foundation in a bottle or tube if people prefer to use Sponge/Beauty Blender or Brush. I'm such a huge fan of Cushion Foundation and Cushion Puffs are the best tools for Cushion Foundation there's a difference when using a damp sponge or Brush.
I would say it’s a personal preference and as you can see the finished result, I would not say it is “useless” to choose another way to apply. I don’t use the applicators that come
in shadow palettes either but the end result with a shadow brush doesn’t prove useless. Have a great day!
I can totally see how formula, applicator, and application techniques result in different looks, but it seems unsanitary to me. I’m acne prone so I absolutely must use a clean and sanitized applicator every time, and I try to avoid contaminating the pot by dipping in multiple times with the same applicator that’s been on my skin. Those little puffs are difficult to clean and maintain.
You do such a beautiful job with eyeshadows. I just love it! I would love to see you do some lipstick with a touch more color. I think I am too old to wear the real pale shades at 69. What would you suggest? Thanks for the great videos!

I'm a bit tanned and warm toned, do you think the pinks would wash me out? Colar palettes always pull almost orange on me and I'm looking for a warm pink palette.
I definitely think you could pull off pinks....it's more in the tone and depth of the pink I think, rather than it just being pink at all. Hope this helps!

They are actually not carrying it anymore because they are transitioning to talc free this year. I am so bummed, but made sure to buy a backup of the classic palette before they got rid of it. LOL

I actually don't. The more I have been using it, the more well rounded I feel like the palette is overall. Nice mix of neutral, a few warms and then the cool toned pinks. It's become a fave of mine very quickly.

The new one has a bit more skincare in it, as well as the added spf 30. I find it to be a bit more moisturizing as well. :)

Hey Isabel! I use cream in the future skin. I think I heard that if you use cream or nude, the nude will be great. I do think the cushion shades are a little more "stretchy" to where they will be more forgiving and span more than a couple shades in the potted future skin. I hope this helps!

Would Jane Iredale work on mature oily, large pore sensitive skin? Have you work on mature faces with those products?
Yes, I have definitely worked on mature clients with the Jane. And I find so many of their products work great for them!!
