Oka is forever the S tier Sāmoan food, It’s one of my favorite if not my favorite Sāmoan food, I can’t stress enough how underrated it is, I love watching people fall in love with it because it’s so fucking good it’s like crack in the form of raw fish, it’s a must during Sunday lunch

the thing with spanian is, he is a great example of potential that could have been lost had he not decided...or not even decided...maybe realised or recognized, that he is much more than what the street life mirror reflected, sometimes that 'street life' is simply all you have and it becomes who you are, and that is what it is, but this is a great story of a man who bust out that bitch and grew to start utilising his true potential, its brilliant.

Yes taro leaves not cooked thoroughly will cause your mouth to itch tingle. I think it also depends on the taro too. I had lusipi once and my mouth started to feel weird. I thought I was experiencing anaphylactics 😅 I then learnt that taro leaves can do that if not cooked properly

Curious question. With the large Polynesian population in inner, south west and greater west syd, why don’t Polynesians open more food shops? The Arabs have manoush and traditional middle eastern restaurants in every street corner yet you never see a Polynesian place.

Not everyone has the business mindset or desire. It’s common in eastern people to run their own ventures
Yeah it's hard because you have a thousand relatives comming thru yr Door and it's hard to charge them as we normally give our food for free and yeah it's a cut throat business the food industry Alot of Poly Kiwi food places have shut because lack of business knowledge when the food they put out is the goods.....
