You might have mentioned that they also run a secondary channel, Sabaton History, where they publish the background to their music. How many other bands do that?
To be fair, Sabaton's got a pocket historian with experience in making webshows. Dragonforce doesn't have a "SO FAR AWAY" specialist or I'm sure they'd do the same.
They also have a 24/7 livestream channel here on YT that plays nothing but their music
My husband and I are gonna see them next Saturday!!
Have fun there 👍🏻
Yessir! This is a W video. I didn’t know much about Sabaton, so this was really helpful. Very nerdy 😉
25th anniversary. Going to see them tomorrow in Connecticut (from CA 🤪) for the first time. Super excited.!! I would have learned more / better history had this band been in the curriculum. Don't forget theirbSabaton History Channel. Full of documentaries on the topics sung about with a true Historian.
Sabaton also have a history channel where they go in depth about the history and a little about the song itself i recommend everyone watch it if you love sabaton
It’s there 25th anniversary
I still have their original demo, as well as a copy of the Italian published Metalizer.
Got it back in 2006 from a secret santa gift exchange within the sabaton fanclub of the time.
It's crazy how they grew as the first concert I saw them, they played for 25 people, and the last concert I saw them they played for almost 50.000
PowerMetal and Balads are together from very beginning.
For future reference when mentioning Thobbe, his name is pronounced Tobb-eh. Th is prunounced like a hart T because the English Th sound does not exist in Swedish. Also if a name or word end in an e, that letter is pronounced eh. I hope this was helpful info,... I like your videos!
They were actually named that before they decided to make historical songs
