Mrs G : I Agree 100%
You are swiftly becoming one of my faves. You have a wonderful upbeat personality and you explain things very clearly and suggest things with authority through experience. Really glad you made a channel. :)
Side note: I was obsessed with hyper colors when I was younger. So glad to have access to trying this now. :) I had no clue!
Thankyou :)
Wow, this takes me back! And from someone who makes a part of their living dyeing and selling shirts, you did a great job with your first attempt! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Mate 👍
Man of all trades not scared to try different things. Our granddaughters love to do so tie dye stuff. Looking forward to seeing your next video

I like how you changed it up again. I remember making tye dye shirts at summer camp in the 80s. Great job as always buddy
Thanks Mate
I need one of those man. Reminds me of the early nineties.
blast from the past! I felt like the coolest kid at the blue light disco with a hypercolor t-shirt and hammer pants!
😂
I had the hammer pants too lol
@@BensWorx haha it's great you're reviving these, going to make a lot of people happy!
Well done ... & I LOVED the tie died one .. think I just may have a crack at that myself ...
Thanks Margo

OMG That's SO Awesome!! I remember I was in high school when hypercolour t-shirts came in and they were huge! (Mid 90's) I SO want one now!! They were a great laugh at swimming carnivals 😁 Thanks heaps for the blast from the past and showing us how to do it!! Im off to get a camp stove from Bunnings 😆👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thanks Sas!
Really neat, Ben. Thanks for sharing.
Bill
Thanks Bill
Awesome, I love the tie dye shirt. Very cool. I always enjoy learning new things. Well done 😊😊😊😊
Thanks Mate
@@BensWorx 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I Love Purple. That's Cool.
That and you brightened my Saturday morning, love this channel so much. Tie dye cheesecloth and a pair of loons, I remember my big sister wearing that, crowned with a bubble perm lol 🤣 Thanks Ben 👍
Thanks Alison 😂
Well that was different-very interesting 🤗
a cool method - now i have flashbacks to
- the time we made tie dye-shirts at school (mandatory sewing-classes back then)
- when hypercolor-shirts were "in" in the 1990s...
...am actually tempted to give it a try, since i remember i wanted one of the hypercolor-shirts as tv-commercials were full of it, but there was none to be bought here ;-)
Those came out pretty cool. Always good to see you expanding your videos. 👍
Thanks Mate
Well thats certainly a different project than we're used to seeing fromyou, but but cool nonetheless.. thanks, Ben!
Thanks Mate
That video was a nice walk down memory lane. I remember when those shirts first came out. I saved my allowance for weeks to get one. Your colors look exactly like the one I had. I love it when you SHIFT the content up.
That looks so dope!! Great project. I couldn't help but think of you standing over that pot, stirring, chanting a "spell" like a witch 😂
Thanks Cody 😂
So glad you tried it, thanks Ben 👍
MY MAN!!!! (The way Denzel Washington says it). You sir are a man who listens to his fans and isn’t afraid of the future. Thank you for reaching for new heights!!! Don’t quit experimenting....you will bring more people to the channel. The shoulder looks like it’s on the mend. You will transcend what you’ve already conquered. Bobby Dukes is always willing to collaborate. Reach out to him, he won’t turn you down. He likes collaborating with science and artistic people all the time. It has expanded his base and he’s insane...watch a video! Big steps have to be made to get a million button
Thanks Mate, I appreciate your support 👍
Posted 57 seconds ago .... hip hip hooray!
(Expect to see more shirts like this in future build videos!)
I was waiting for him to mount it to a waste block. :D
😂
Wow, I haven't thought of tie dying in ages. We use to do it a couple times a year back in the 70's. That color shifting material is very cool on fabric.
Yeah it looks great
Loved this effect back in the day . Cool vid ❤️🇦🇺❤️✌️✌🏽✌🏿❤️🇦🇺❤️
Thanks Jay
Wow... never seen this before but its so cool!
Thanks Mate
The tie dye shirt turned out better than the first one.
Truly appreciate your videos . This is cool like tie dye as kids. Your hands look like incredible Hulk. We know your next pasta colours just kidding.
Thanks Mate 👍
Nice idea. The t-shirts look great. :)
Thankyou
Fun stuff Ben!
Thanks Mary
This was really fun, thanks!
Anyone else remember Global Hypercolor from the 80’s/90’s? (I’m kinda old...). I didn’t realise chromic stuff was available to buy to do at home!!! Epic! Nice video!
Amazing and outstanding and the tie dye shirt came out really good at least I think so
Thanks Mate
Very, very cool!!!
Thanks Samantha
i love this guy so creative
That stuff is pretty cool.
Very cool, Ben! I'll probably never try this but it was fun watching you do it!
Thanks Martin
That made a really nice looking and cool shirt and it didn't look very difficult either
Thanks Mate
I owned a HyperColor shirt in the early 90s. I'd love to see these make a comeback -- I rediscovered roller skating again, these would be a HUGE hit at the roller rink.
Great video. Very straight forward and to the point.
It was fun buddy. You always put a smile on my face. You are becoming my favourite RUclipsR.
That looked cool good job with the tie dyeing job too
Thanks Beth
Ok this is actually awesome 😎
Every 90's kid knows HyperColor shirts and more than likely owned one..
👍
Well that was awesome and I wanna try it now.
Thanks Mate
that was different. like that. good job!
Great job. Love the videos
Thanks Mate
That’s really neat!
Loved that shirt, need them in your merchandise store. I remember doing the old tie many years ago. Everyone wanted one love it 👍💕💕
Thankyou
hehe, LOL Tie dye, something From the 70s. Got to love it.
Thanks Lorrie
@@BensWorx Ben I needed to watch something delightful today.
It was 19 years ago to day that the attack on the Twin Towers Trade Center, and Pentagon and Flight 93. 2977 Americans lost their lives that day. I remember it like it was just yesterday, I knew where I was, and the time I found out.
Your timing was impeccable. To see your project, a warm smile, was a wonderful distraction.
Thank you
Such a sad day 😞
Nice ben👍👍
Thanks Mate
Great job on your tee shirts they looked amazing
Cool! I recently started dying my own yarn, now you've given me more ideas darn it :)
That’s cool 👍
Wow amazing
I like it!! The color was so intense in the pot, I thought it might be that dark at the end.
wow i so want to dye a shirt and make myself a hypercolour shirt. i loved the one i had in school and have always wanted another one. i may just have to try this.
Wow I lovit !!!!
What a wonderful to save money on buying tie die t-shirts and colored t-shirts.. If I ever get the chance I think I'll do it..
👍
Hi Ben! It looks like a lot of fun. Also maybe an exciting family project. (If the kids are old enough to not try to freak their siblings out by saying it a new flavor of Kool Aid) 😅😅😅. Cheers! 🍻🍹. 🦕🦖 ✨🦅 🇺🇸💜 ✨Roma
Thanks Roma
Very cool 😎 💙
Thanks Kristine
I remember those shirts from when I was a kid loved to wear them to school
AMAZING! We literally just uploaded our tie dye EVERYTHING video a few hours ago too! Big fans of your channel and watch every week without fail :D
Thanks Mate
Very cool
That is really cool color changing clothes that would work really well for people working in areas where it's really hot and when their body temperature reaches too high they can take a break pull themselves down but I hope you have some of that down left over cuz the way I do mind eyes I left them let all the fluid evaporate leaving behind the color and then I mix my resin with it made a small blank yesterday color looks great and I may be able to shape it into a water drop or teardrop for a teardrop pendant or maybe one of the original Pokemon badges
It's cool, but i was hoping the color would be more vibrant. I love the different avenues of creativity!!!
Thanks Carol, they look brighter in person
I never know what you are up to. Lol. That is really cool. I want to get some of that.
Like the dye
Love it! And I've ordered from that company too. Great stuff!
Thanks Pam
Totally rad blast from the past bro! When do they go into the Etsy store? Keep making projects, we’ll keep watching!
Thanks Max 👍
Hi Ben! You my friend have skills.
Very nice idea, I’ll definitely go to the webpage. Have a good day!
Another fun project! Not sure about your gym idea, though, seems like it would just show your sweat! Haha
But seriously, the joy on your face, when you put on the shirt, and when you make it change color... I love it! Keep doing things that give you such pure happiness!
Thanks Miriam
Hi there thank you so much for the upload! does it wash well? how well does it retain the dye? Thank you
Doesn't matter if it's totally different than the normal video. It's a fun project! Also, hypercolor brings back those middle school memories. I wonder if they have the iconic orange dye?
TYSM!!! I'm assuming the pot is no longer good to use with food after so I'd need to designate a pot just for this?
HI! I'm so glad I found this video. I'm having a question if this is also how thermochromic pigment powder works?
Thanks for sharing how did the dye hold up?
We used to break open liquid markers to tye dye our shirts as kids. Ben size xl okay. Sorry I just want everything today. Lol.
Different definitely. But very cool!
Thanks Mate
Very cool my brother i like the tie dyed one... can you do one with more than 1 color?
Thanks Mate, yeah definitely
what is the pre-soak for the cotton shirt?
Was your tie dyed shirt pre soaked?
I wonder if you can add this to exterior house paint
me and thr miss's want to see you tey ice dying next with this stuff. defiantly want to pick some up.
Very cool project Ben. Will that stuff work in resin?
Thanks Mate, I have thermal dust designed for resin 👍
What were you preloading the shirt in at the beginning?
wow that looks very cool man
why don't you use a glass bottle or something shaped like a cylinder to tie the shirt and then dip it in the water?
👍
That's pretty cool. How long after it turns blue does it go back to purple?
Thanks Lynn, it depends on the temperature, from my tests around 5-10 seconds
Awesome video and your shirts look awesome! Does the heat need to remain on or water warm while soaking the shirt in the pot? Thanks for sharing!
Thankyou, yes leave on a low heat
@@BensWorx 👍Thank you!! (I accidentally hit thumbs down to your response at first)☺️
how long did the dye last? Did it lose power or faded over time?
It's not my thing, but good video anyway.
Always interesting.
Shut it!!! Yessss
Cool! But is there anything that changes color if a bacteria/ germs are in a fabric? How is it gonna work? I really need it for my research 🙏
Is there some Ben's Worx tie dye merch in the....worx? :P
Hahaha maybe 🤔
Hello what is the difference between hue chromic fabric dye and thermochromic
