I never dive without a wetsuit and lite tennis shoes, especially arround rocks.Everything is eather sharp, slightly venomous ( sea urchins) covered in bacteria maybe even oily.
They have very dark meat with alot of blood line, I would say it's only for hard core fish eaters. There big, never stop swimming and put up a fight once speared, that's why I like catching them.
Its seems like you keeped that lobster. Couldn't tell if you original speared it or if it was found like that. But warning,.... if you got caught by the wardens with a spear in hand and a lobster. You'd be looking a serious penalty, especially if you don't have a license for it. Wouldn't matter if you were the one that original killed it or not, if they would've seen it near you and saw puncture holes. Next to a spearfisherman they would've counted you as the one to have killed. Be careful out there. Pura vida 🤙
man this bring back memories… grew up fishing there
Always enjoy your videos.
