Yes, Peter. These bobbers have numbers and they correspond with the amount of buoyancy--meaning higher the number the higher the buoyancy. In order for a bobber to sink quickly and properly when fish takes the bait, you will need to counter weight it by adding split shot somewhere on your leader line. So if you, for example, use size 2B bobber, you will need to add a size 2B split shot so they are counter balanced. That way fish can take the bait without feeling any resistances. Depends on the depth, current and wind condition, you will need to choose these bobbers wisely for effective fishing. Generally speaking, on a calm day you are better off with the lighter bobber and lighter weight, whereas on a rough day you will need to go opposite. Some of the advantages of ISO fishing is that you can target fishes in different depths and yet be able to cast and bring your bait down to where the fishes are only using lighter gear. Good luck. Thank you Josh. I use hooks specifically made for opaleye . They are about size 10 in America. I bring over 10 types of hooks each time and change constantly :)

It really depends on where I am fishing. It ranges from 3ft to 20ft. At that spot, it was about 7 ft-10ft.
