As an Argie I feel really proud of the fight at the end against Ireland, it was a really exciting game. We need to learn from the mistakes made in the opening minutes. Well done Irish
We don't deserve your congratulations. Ye played the better rugby. Always a pleasure to host ye though, even if it looks like you'll be beating us from now on😅

@@IncredibleMet Yeah, it already has paid dividends. And theres some other potentially tasty teams waiting in the grass too - a couple in the 'second 6' - the shadow 6 nations, show promise. Georgia, Romania, Portugal Spain and a couple of others from Latin America. I'm sure a couple of teams have looked at Italy's progress in the rankings recently and thought 'We're having some of that!' it's a matter of time and playing quality opposition - before you can walk, you're going to have falls and skinned knees, but in the end it's worth it.
We finished the match with 14 players and pushing Ireland more than 50 meters to a desperate defense in their own 5 meter line. I think the Irish players and trainers faces at the end of the match said it all: they know they barely made it. I did not like the news when Contepomi was chosen as manager of our team, but he has proven me wrong so far.
The head says we won but my heart feels different. Discipline again is off the charts bad and lack of scoring particularly in the 2nd half is a worry but Argentina were classy in defeat.
If anyone thought this was going to be easy for Ireland, well look at who Argentina have beaten before this game. Ireland came out of the traps firing on all cylinders, but second half was a mish mash the only words that are applicable. Argentina in the second halve had a very good game and could have won', (but did not) and have not beaten Ireland at home. So I still think we need to blood new young players. Our discipline yet again and lineout support play needs big improvement. Great game by 2 outstanding teams! Thank you.
I completely agree. Our discipline and lineouts are major issues, regarding discipline, conceding 13 penalties per game is unsustainable if we expect to win. This problem is fixable, but it hasn’t improved since last week-we’ve now given up 26 penalties across just two games. I believe this is what's keeping our opponents in the game, and it needs to be addressed immediately. As for the lineouts, they've been a consistent problem since 2023. Everyone knows it: the players, the coaches, and the fans. If it were easily fixable, it would have been resolved by now. Unfortunately, it remains this team’s Achilles’ heel. That said, its best the dip in performance and issues are showing up now rather than in the six nations or world cup. we are still re-building a team, and finding the right balance. if we can just clean up those two issues this team is as good as ever. I might add in handling errors also which need small improvement and to be maintained.
I tipped the Argies to win. I was wrong but they almost won. The top 8 teams are closer now than at anytime since the professional era started or maybe ever. Rugby is healthy
Argentina as a TOP 5 side without relying on a RWC result is outstanding! Consistency is building for them like never before. This Pumas team are up there with the 2015 Pumas
Argentina is becoming a more complete team, with consistency increasingly tied to being more clinical. They have demonstrated this consistency throughout the year.
Great game. I really underestimated pumas pre match. Was expecting a lot more from Irish, but defence and getting into those rucks kept pumas in it. How is Cian Healy still going? Legend
The Pumas are some tough boys, they didn't drop the heads 13 points down after failing to score before half time. They kept plugging away and were putting us under massive pressure at the end. They could easily have won the game. Ireland are going through a ropey patch, but I don't think we are on the decline just yet. We were decent in the first half, but our ill discipline and Argentinian resolve brought them them back into the match. We need to lower the penalty count, continue blooding new players and get back to some form of consistency. I think we can do all those things, but we shall see as we go through the season.
Ireland fan here. Argentina deserved to win this game and were stout in defence. We were rubbish again and have given up 26 penalties now in the last two games. Unacceptable.
@corcaigh I'd say there are a few 'retirements' on the cards pre 6N. Farrell showing loyalty to give a few lads their swan song, but I'd bet him and easterby have agreed on some people not to pick in February.
Mark, many thanks as always for your insightful vid. As an Irish fan, I thought Ireland played a lot better than last week (better conditions possibly helped) but so well done Argentina, cementing their place as No. 5 in the world with an excellent performance. Ireland not scoring in the second half was a worry, but in context, Argentina's last score was just on 50 minutes, so essentially there was no scores for either team in the last 30 minutes plus overtime in this game.
They can beat any team on their day as they have proven. The problem for them is that in the RWC they have to have three of those days in a row to win the tournament.
100%...... South Africa have won 2 world cups without having to beat New Zealand, Ireland,France, Australia or Scotland.. luck of the draw sometimes, anything is possible
How important was that dropgoal in the end. Argies definitely deserved a win at the end. If this is what Ireland is looking like moving forward, some tougher times are ahead, farcry from the team winning a series in NZ
Irish fan here in agreement. This team is over the hill and we need to rebuild. Pity we did not start last season like SA, NZ and ENG who so far look better than us.
He milked it for sure but it was still head contact and dealt with properly following the protocols. At least that's what I saw from the highlights reel.
@stephenstrydom1 from your name I suspect you're South African. Me too. We didn't consider it hysteria when Lambies career ended due to multiple concussions, nor did we consider it hysteria when Joost's illness was attributed to head injuries- even if not exclusively. I grew up playing rugby at school in the 80s and have the bragging rights of actually playing against James Small (I got pummelled lol) so I remember how we used to play. But players now are bigger faster stronger and medical and sports science has advanced, so if the laws are changed to make it safer for everyone then I will gladly support it. Imagine Kurt Lee on the receiving end of 80's style brutality with current size players. He wouldn't last 10 minutes, let alone be the exceptional player he is now.
Mark you have a handful of Spanish comments that are thoughtful and substantive. I cannot think of a higher compliment for a review with zero Spanish. Congratulations and gracias a todos que escribiban [?]
I just think yellow card element is literally, colouring the game in negativity. The croc roll, for example, is crazy, in my opinion. It wasn't around the neck, wasn't a twisting of the torso, just a roll. The head-on-head yellow against Argentina early on was also ridiculous. I mean, what is this all about? These are moments in a high contact sport. None of these moments were close to being malicious. I don't want the game to be ruined by this...
Agree with the head knocks but for me, there should be zero tolerance for croc roll. It’s not the neck but rather the knee. Croc rolls risk players knees which are often season ending injuries.
The croc roll is about landing on a players leg and snapping their knees. Their have been serious injuries because of it, that's why it warrants such a harsh penalty.
De Argentina.🥟🍷 La verdad fue parejo. Pero! EN LA ULTIMA JUGADA EL ARBITRO PERDONÓ TRES PENALES A FAVOR DE ARG. ESTE PARTIDO DEBIO TERMINAR EMPATADO (por patada a los palos) O GANAR ARG. por Try. MUY ENOJADO CON EL ÁRBITRO.
Argentina will feel that they should have won that. Credit to Ireland for pulling through. That took a lot of character to do, judging by how the game was turning against them.
HOW MANY PENALTIES WAS THE REFF GOING TO IGNORE IN THAT LAST PLAY?!? I hate crying about the reff but my god the Irish could have pulled a gun out and he would have still played stupid
You can't just blame the ref but he definitely didn't help you rightly or wrongly, maybe the laws are at fault more than him! But well played Argentina you made Dublin get a sweat on!
Ireland penalties, 2 games in a row. Sheesh. There’s nothing between the top five teams, any of them could win on any day. Argentine defence was solid! Ireland couldn’t get a tempo going. Nail biter.
I didn't like the Moroni yellow, Crowley left the ball at his arse and moved into Moroni, and then going down like he was shot holding his face, there is a worrying trend of the Rugby lads hamming up contact, especially the head knocks, looking for penalties/yellows. Missed drop from Albornoz was critical in the end.
@@donalnotdonald Can't believe that wasn't upgraded, it was obvious he knew exactly what he was doing. If targeting a guy's head while he's stuck in a ruck isn't a high level of danger what is?
@@Camcolito strange one alright, possibly the period of the game it occured in lead to them letting it slide, similarly bizarre call last week with Radrada getting smashed by Refell which was left as a yellow.
@@donalnotdonald I don't know what's going on, seems World Rugby are just saying head collisions are a minor thing now after years of trying to stamp it out.
The only thing I can take from these games is that it's the right time for Ireland not to be at their best. Probably Argentina should have taken us. Hopefully there will be improvements before the 6N.
Probably lucky to get out of Dodge. Fair play to the Puma's for fighting their way back into the game. However, I think Ireland's poor discipline was the main reason it got so close. We definitely need to improve on this as our discipline was one of our core strengths up until fairly recently.
It would have been nice to see Argentina be a bit more aggressive with some of their early penalty decisions. They did have moments with momentum. Ireland seemed to be playing all the rugby in the 1st 40. The fight back in the 2nd 40 was awesome. Malia has some footwork on him, but the discipline cost them. Beautiful defensive effort from the Argies in the dying minutes.
It was a big improvement on last week but Ireland won't be back properly until they improve at the breakdown, the line out and their discipline. The attack looks static without Mike Cat's coaching and the maul goes nowhere. Anyone asking Big Pauly about that and the poor line out? Surely he must come under some scrutiny. Still I think they will get better . Going to take some time to get back to the pre-world cup form.
I was surprised by how slow the Irish attack looked at times... sometimes they are so quick and relentless you can just FEEL a try is inevitable... but man the Pumas did well to slow things down and looks solid
Great game, love that Farrell brought in Clarkson early (55min) and gave Sam Pendergast 20 minutes. Ireland defence is solid but the attack is lacking, Argentina’s failure to exit in the first half on 4 occasions set the platform for Ireland. They were better at exiting in the second half. Like NZ they were happy to soak up Ireland pressure and take kicks at goal. I thought Ireland should have played territory a bit more, discipline and errors were better but I can’t see them working more to reduce them further. Hopefully we will see Casey, Osbourne and Clarkson start next week. JVF looked like his hamstring went in the dying minutes so Timoney will likely start. If Furlong is back I would bring him off the bench. Izuchukwu will likely be introduced off the bench otherwise it would be a lot of changes. I would be tempted to stick with Crowley with Prendergast off the bench again. Gavin Coombs to be called up, Ireland are crying out for the physicality he brings to ball carrying. Cain Prendergast could also be used for that punch. Robbie or Aki off the bench will offer impact.
Clarkson did well and so did Prendergast. No shock there. They way Ireland select you'd think anyone in their early 20s were incapable of playing test rugby.
First half went more or less as you'd expect Ireland to play but that second half, what in the name of god was that? Refusal to take easy 3 points when they presented themselves throughout both halves, kicking away possession stupidly, failing to execute after pushing right up into the Argentine half. Feel sorry for Argentina, unbreakable defence, excellent rucking kept irish hands from making turnovers, caused us to concede penalties, very aggressive pack, no traction with our mauls at all. About as close as you can get between two teams.
Good defence by Arg but it is not that difficult if you know what to expect. Ireland never looked like they were gonna try something else in the 2nd half. Argentina was so shallow and quick on defence leaving loads of space behind the centres to chip into, even if only to give them something else to think about when rushing up on defence. You must force the defence to divide their focus in terms of what your options are. Ireland were just running lateral behind the gain line or putting up high kicks, usually too deep. No challenge for a reasonably organized defence. Must admit I was dissapointed despite the win. Argentina should not be buying the beer tonight...
Disapointed, very, very close. Anyway, the good thing is that Pumas conitnue playing agaist better teams and showing a similar level. Congratulations to Ireland, world top 3 team.
Two cents i have to ask your opinion, are irealnd the team to beat these days? Not in terms of world position or quality of the team per say. I just feel like every team really wants to beat ireland at the moment. Would love to hear from other nations fans (undoubtedly the saffas😂) about why or why not. Hear for the craic and conversation. Not tryong to be a bad sportsman. Congrats to argentina on a fantastic year of rugby
Anyone has footage of the last knock on by los Pumas? Convenient for Ieland that there were no replays. Anyway, Argentina lost that game. That first half try overturned and the final yellow cost them.
Cards and pens were I think excessive and could have spoiled what was actually a great game . Credit to both sides from a Scot neutral . 6 Nations should be good
I fully agree with you on the officiating I was raging every time Argentina got on the wrong side of the ruck and t ref screamed it’s available when it wasn’t same as last week if you get caught on the wrong side it should be a penalty right away or go back to allowing stamping if you get on the wrong side you’re getting studs.
@@ciaranbrk well IF the scrum half can get to the ball easily enough then I actually agree that it's unnecessary to penalize the opposition player. The ref SHOULD consider whether the player is making an attempt, whether he's pinned deliberately, etc. Argentina didn't seem to deliberately slow the ball down much whereas Ireland seemed to do exactly that. So given the intention of the players, a good ref should penalise only one of the teams.
The Irish defence is epic the attack is flacid. Maybe they are slightly changing their attack systems with their new coach. I was at the game but down behind the posts. Atmosphere good in spots to shit in places. Too many bell ends going to the bar and getting food during the match. Shame. Nice to see the young prop getting a good debut. VDF was on fire jesus he was involved in a lot. Mc Carthy is a beast but man oh man does he give away some brain dead penalties.
This is awesome for rugby, so happy for los pumas, any team on the day is how it should be. People are quick to say The ABS are not what they use to be but shesh they are still in the top after how many years of rugby history?
Argentina had their moment but they didnt look very good for most of the game. They hung in with penalties, got a great individual effort try, and nearly pulled off a last minute heist. Ireland have been very lackluster! They pretty much checked out after those first 2 tries.
I need to know why, when Ireland were given yellow cards, Argentina went for 3 points both times. I understand the first time, get points on the board etc. But the 2nd time, they're a lock down, you're in their half, how on earth do you not kick to the corner and rolling maul it with them being one forward down?? That makes no sense to me. You HAVE to go for the jugular at certain times in a game and that 2nd yellow going for 3 points instead of the corner will always be the wrong move, especially with a forward yellow carded.
Ireland have an excellent maul defence they very rarely leak more than one try a game Argentina were probably hoping Ireland get ill disciplined and they can kick penalties which almost worked.
The Argies played with heart and passion instead of strategy. They kicked for goals instead of going for line outs when they had extra man advantage. They had the pack weights in their favour and could have mauled it as they seem to have strong momentum in their mauls. Its as if they are keen just to give their Nos 10 free points to accumulate to his personal tally than think for the teams glory instead of his single glory. Stupefied I was of this strategy. Thus was a game they could have won. In fact, SHOULD HAVE WON. Ireland was there for the taking. There are massive problems with Ireland. The transition isn't happening well, but everyone is hiding it. However you saw at the end of the match, their own players seemed baffled as to HOW THEY GOT AWAY WITH A WIN. Their television editor cheated us fans of replays... coz I swear, that last call was to me not a scrum for Ireland to end the game. It was their get out of dodge opportunity. The fans were cheated I tell you, thats just not on. In as much as a cancellation of a try based on an infringement earlier on review, same thing should be awaited before final whistles get made to assess the finish, so no mistakes are made, at least within the last couple of phases as per rules. But this isn't being observed at all. Sure it may delay ending of matches, but .... if the game if for fairness, let fairness be applied and full rules observed.
I for one was happy to scurry out of the Aviva with that win. Argentina were so close, we got out of jail, wouldn’t have argued if they had come out on top. Lack of score in the second half and penalty count again are worrying and frustrating but there were a few glimpses of the good stuff. Thought Clarkson did well on his debut and Prendergast too did enough for his 20mins. Overall the feeling is hard luck Argentina but..phew.
I think it’s pretty clear we’re finding the post-Sexton transition tricky. If this s a tricky start for the next generation, we’ll be fine. But this is a rough patch with green shoots.
@ I think they might be premature off the back of one sub performance where we didn’t score in the second half. We needed Frawley to get past the Boks in the summer. Writing off anyone in year 1 of a World Cup cycle would be daft. At some point O’Mahoney is going to hang ho his boots too. There are options a plenty, but they need to build up experience across all positions to mount a proper challenge. Still, winning is a habit, and they were ahead at the final whistle.
I'd say it's more post Mike Catt to be honest. We look like a team who are trying something new. Not sold on Goodman and serious questions have to asked of Paul O'Connell. He gets a pass because he's Paul O'Connell but the buck stops with him for our poor lineout performances.
It is not so much about the Sexton succession. It is more about our pack losing lineouts, not being able to execute turnovers and giving away penalties in the scrums. It is hard for any 10 to play behind a beaten pack.
Imagine what the Pumas will look like at the next World Cup. I wouldn't be surprised if they won it, honestly. They're showing a lot of positive signs.
The Irish game plan: 1. Infringe at the ruck 2. Have Porter pull down the scrum 3. If the ref starts penning Porter for that then start boring in. 4. Start every defensive play from an offside position if the refs back is turned to you. Linesman are blind anyway. 5. Take a dive when you feel something touching your face. 6. Tell the TV crew to not show replays of any key moments.
What’s the saffas game plan? Make death threats towards refs, make 2hr long biased videos ‘criticising’ the ref, get kolbe to dive at the end of game?😂
But for wee lack of discipline in the dwindling minutes, the Pumas would more'n likely've pipped us to the post. Thank you for a great game Argentina. Respectfully yours😊🏴☠☘
Man I am going to give Ireland props for scraping out a win I had the Pumas to win this all the energy for me was heading their way before game …Ireland played under a dark cloud none of them seemed to enjoy none of that game could see it in tunnel body language all that..but they got there but lucky but still they won..Punas gonna be sticking around their u20s go pretty good
I think your being a little harsh on Ireland there as Argentina are a pretty darn good side so for Ireland to beat them is certainly a plus imho 👍. I think Irish supporters may be a lit concerned that their teams standard in dropping a little through because that's basically what cost them the Grand Slam in the 6Ns.
Argentina le cuesta entrar rápido en partido , cuando lo hace ya se encuentra bastante abajo en el marcador , antes se le criticaba q los últimos 20 minutos donde el equipo se caía, ahora son los primeros 20 donde le cuesta arrancar
Argentina are a great team, both teams defence was amazing. Ireland’s strike moves won it, we left a couple of tries on the field, just a bit more accuracy needed - Arg defence stopped Irelands phase play. In Irelands last attacking phase of the game Arg gave away 3 penalties, Casey was completely taken out and tackled way beyond play right in front of the ref, no idea why he let that go. Great play from Argentina but it should have ended 25-19
I love the way the Pumas play really exciting rugby. I just hope they can keep it up and those blowout games are behind them. The Rugby Championship needs 4 strong competitive teams.
We were brittle, and the Pumas should've won. We need serious re-thinking about our coaching and player selection policy. The Pumas defence was immense. Contepomi must feel the Pumas deserved more. Not scoring in the second half is incredibly worrying. Prendergast and co as subs were a positive. Wow, we dodged a bullet. Very worried fan here.
A win is a win, and against this high performing Argentina side. Ireland’s first half performance was much better, not sure where it went to in 2nd half, happy we held on and got the W.
Veey harsh yellow in the first few minutes. I am beginning to think there is no such thing as a rugby accident. Moroni was low and Crowley dipping. Its time for refs to accept that accidents do happen and keep the yellow card in their pocket. Its also time for TMO to stop interfering unless ref asks him for opinion. Sorry rant over
Question about the rules and pkayer safety. If the tackle on Crowley is bad enough to deserve a yellow howcome neither player needed to undergo an HIA? surely the concern of player safety would mean it's necessary?
Have to say,as an Irish fan, Moroni was very unlucky. Too many pens, the jury is still out for this series. Glad to see a couple of new caps, on the other end Cian Healy 133 caps.... legend.
Bit disappointment to see no scoring from Ireland in the second half, but definitely an improvement from last week and ended in the exact score differential that I predicted.
Ref didn't see, or did not want to see, the numerous penalties made by the Irish pack in the last couple of minutes. Unfortunately, these games are always biased favouring home nations
As an Argie I feel really proud of the fight at the end against Ireland, it was a really exciting game. We need to learn from the mistakes made in the opening minutes. Well done Irish

Argentina is officially a top 4 team after this performance.
Eh officially they aren't though.
Nah Ireland are just overrated hacks.
Don't think so. Ireland scored 3 trys to 1. Some highly dubious calls
Argentina beat nz and sa this year. I always rate them, if you dont you lose.
They would have to overcome France with some comfort on the scoreboard
Argentina is becoming a more complete team, with consistency increasingly tied to being more clinical. They have demonstrated this consistency throughout the year.
Yeah, mate! I expected a bit of a meltdown from Ireland. We'll done. ABs fan. 🎉
Jeez wouldn't have given that many away in an entire six nations 😮
We are getting worse game by game ..... what's going on
A win is a win time to kick on
@corcaigh I'd say there are a few 'retirements' on the cards pre 6N. Farrell showing loyalty to give a few lads their swan song, but I'd bet him and easterby have agreed on some people not to pick in February.
@cheesecake6696 ab's did the loyalty card too with tj perenara, cane..
Was a game to watch. Would have love to seen Argentina get the win. But not to be. Well done to Ireland 🇮🇪 from an All Blacks fan
Argentina could’ve probably should’ve won that. It maybe a victory but Argentina will rightfully feel aggrieved.
They have nothing to feel aggrieved about, they had their opportunity and didn't take it. Frustrated yes, aggrieved no.
Argentina showing they are a seriously good team
I agree. Have been for some time now.
Hardluck Argentina feel like the 1 scrum where Irland got popped the pen went the wrong way but anyway great effort
I would really love to see some day a ref raise his hand for a scrum penalty, flip a coin and that decides who gets the pen. 😂
Well done Ireland, pendergast looked really good when he came on. Onwards and upwards 💪
He reminds me of a young Sexton
Reminds me of Larkham when he runs and passes. Hope he gets more game time.
Wow you were up early thanks from Ireland. Not taking a so called certain 3 points could have cost us.
Thankfully the kick of time was a good one for us here in NZ! And yeah bloody close one!
Vamos Argentina. Very impressive team. Unlucky not to sneak a win against a strong Irish team at their home fortress.
Argentina have officially arrived. They will go into 2027 as one of the favorites to win the wcup.
They can beat any team on their day as they have proven. The problem for them is that in the RWC they have to have three of those days in a row to win the tournament.
I be pleased if Pumas reach and keep at least 4th rank when 2027 RWC groups are drafted.
Great team. But 2027 is a long way away!!
Well done to Argentinia...for sure better team on the day...but hey.. a win is a win...Ireland saved by the whistle ..
The head contact shithousary needs to stop in rugby. Crowley grabbed his head, didn't go off for an HIA and then scored a try 2 minutes later.🤔
I couldnt agree about the head contact shithousery. Completely Ruining the game.
He milked it for sure but it was still head contact and dealt with properly following the protocols. At least that's what I saw from the highlights reel.
@Karma-qt4ji By "protocols" you mean the head contact hysteria?
@Karma-qt4ji No problem, you support it. I believe it's bullshit.
As an Irish man I'm very relieved, extremely lucky to get away with the win!
Argentina should have won that with they had beelam in the bin. Why drop goal why
Mark you have a handful of Spanish comments that are thoughtful and substantive. I cannot think of a higher compliment for a review with zero Spanish. Congratulations and gracias a todos que escribiban [?]
I'll need to add some Spanish to my repertoire at some point 😅
Croc rolls are very dangerous. My knee was broken that way. All rugby players now how dangerous could be. It’s nasty to use it
The croc roll is about landing on a players leg and snapping their knees. Their have been serious injuries because of it, that's why it warrants such a harsh penalty.
The Croc roll is (almost) never around the neck. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
De Argentina.🥟🍷
La verdad fue parejo.
A fair comment.
Yep, the flimsy partial character of Williams the last 10 minutes.
Hopefully this game shows there is good depth in Argentinian rugby - to push Ireland without some big names in the team
HOW MANY PENALTIES WAS THE REFF GOING TO IGNORE IN THAT LAST PLAY?!? I hate crying about the reff but my god the Irish could have pulled a gun out and he would have still played stupid
Ah man I know you hate crying about the ref. Don't do it to yourself, don't make crying about the ref the totality of your comment about this game 😂
Typical southern hemisphere always blame the ref 😢😢😢😢😢😢
@@MrJonnyd81 typical home nation team, always getting favoured
@@Camcolito25.000 penalties mate, don't play stupid it was blatant
You can't just blame the ref but he definitely didn't help you rightly or wrongly, maybe the laws are at fault more than him! But
well played Argentina you made Dublin get a sweat on!
watched the whole game. Bluddy good defense by the argies that second half but Irish edged them out in the end, good game.
How does McCarthy get man of the match ? Please explain 😊
Ran right in to him with his head. Then the no-arms shoulder charge to Doris was a definite red. Not sure what game you were watching.
@Camcolito the challenge on Doris was deplorable.
Mark mate your the best!
If they won that game, argentina would have been 4th in the rankings. Theyve really snuck up there.
Summed that game up to a Tee. Solid game
Looks like most of the Irish Sports Journos & Podcasters got the outcome of the game correct (one score win).
It doesn't matter, it was always going to be close after the fiasco against NZ, we'll take the dirty win.
Well done Argentina, I knew you were going run us close. That could have gone either way. Pumas are top tier.
Big respect from Ireland 🇦🇷🤝🇮🇪
That was a very good match.
Yeah definitely up their with the top scalps right now man
They will take Ireland at home eventually. They don't care about reputation or location. Well done to Ireland for holding on 👏🏾
Anyone has footage of the last knock on by los Pumas? Convenient for Ieland that there were no replays. Anyway, Argentina lost that game. That first half try overturned and the final yellow cost them.
Not only did it not happen, but the Irish committed abou 25.000 penalties before that
@@Argenswiss Just stop, you're letting your country down with all your crying.
@@Camcolitodon't you have some potatoes of awful beers to consume?
I didnt see it either, but the look on William's face says to me it did happen. I think if he had any real doubts he would have said play on.
@Argenswiss hahaha don't be such a sore loser. Bad beer? What are you on about?
If you're referring to a certain drink, it's a Stout
Cards and pens were I think excessive and could have spoiled what was actually a great game . Credit to both sides from a Scot neutral . 6 Nations should be good
Did anyone actually SEE the knock-on that ended the game?
Yeah Paul Williams did apparently 😅
Why on earth Argentina didn't take a drop goal in the last play? Maybe they didn't want a draw. Crowley was very good
Malias try was crazyyy!!
Hella good!
The amount of missed penalties in Argentinas last posession was crazy. Piss poor officiating.
Basically a 21 point swing in first 5.ins and they still ended up within a score....starting to be impressed with thus Argentina team
This is awesome for rugby, so happy for los pumas, any team on the day is how it should be. People are quick to say The ABS are not what they use to be but shesh they are still in the top after how many years of rugby history?
That first head contact yellow card was laughable. This entire head contact hysteria is ruining rugby.
I was also thinking they'd go for the jugular... I feel like their missed droppie was a big let off pressure wise
@TwoCentsRugby I just don't think going for a droppie is in our NZ rugby DNA. I felt the same about that too.
Soy yo o las defensas y los ataques en la línea entre Argentina e Irlanda son ya épicas 😊 Saludos desde Argentina!
Yeah I was hoping to see them press with the man advantage as well.... almost got it done with the penalties though!
Prendergast is our man to lead i think, a solid display from him in his 20 minutes first test
@@x-latetv-x6816 Very impressive from him, very pragmatic and controlled.
Well done, Pumas!! Comaan Southern hemispheres......
Imagine what the Pumas will look like at the next World Cup. I wouldn't be surprised if they won it, honestly. They're showing a lot of positive signs.
The Irish game plan:
1. Infringe at the ruck
2. Have Porter pull down the scrum
@Nieljoyceniel At least we can win a scrum legally 🤣
But for wee lack of discipline in the dwindling minutes, the Pumas would more'n likely've pipped us to the post. Thank you for a great game Argentina. Respectfully yours😊🏴☠☘
Argentina will be number one soon
Contepomi doing fine so far aye
Yeah might be right man. Argentina haven't kept anyone scoreless for an entire half this season though - except Uruguay... and now Ireland!
Argentina le cuesta entrar rápido en partido , cuando lo hace ya se encuentra bastante abajo en el marcador , antes se le criticaba q los últimos 20 minutos donde el equipo se caía, ahora son los primeros 20 donde le cuesta arrancar
Yeah imagine if the first try had been given instead of the Moroni yellow card...
Tackle on Crowley was deffo a 20 min binning, rest of the game ref was strict but fair I taught.
Cheers mate
I love the way the Pumas play really exciting rugby. I just hope they can keep it up and those blowout games are behind them. The Rugby Championship needs 4 strong competitive teams.
Yeah man very fun team to watch
That was an unconvincing win but it's a pleasure to see Argentina's' potential being tapped.
Have to say,as an Irish fan, Moroni was very unlucky. Too many pens, the jury is still out for this series. Glad to see a couple of new caps, on the other end Cian Healy 133 caps.... legend.
Ireland got lucky at the end lol
Well Argentina still haven't beaten Ireland in Ireland , which can't be said for any other top 5 team
Una pena que el árbitro haya "ayudado ' al local, Argentina con 14 jugadores empujó a Irlanda en los últimos minutos. Saludos desde Buenos Aires
New Zealand referee was appalling that was a referee who thinks he’s bigger than the game.😢
I thought he was pretty decent, by standards these days.
Bit disappointment to see no scoring from Ireland in the second half, but definitely an improvement from last week and ended in the exact score differential that I predicted.
Crowley drop the bal and a stinker in his pants when he saw an Argie is going to tackle him. That was not even a pennalty.
Penalty * and it was
Ref didn't see, or did not want to see, the numerous penalties made by the Irish pack in the last couple of minutes. Unfortunately, these games are always biased favouring home nations
Dont understand how that croc roll doesn't get a red card 🤔 yet cummings got one for something less dangerous.
Favoritism much....
The last yellow did for Argentina. Ireland indisciplined but Pumas paid more. They played the better rugby.
Prendergast looks a player.
