But do you smell exhaust ? The smokestack is mishaps and high up but I just wondered .... wish the video had shown what furniture is on the balcony, I fantasize about Room Service breakfast on the balcony in my pj's ....

There's nothing wrong with bringing sanitizing wipes, a couple of pairs of Rubber Gloves, and sweeping the inside of the storage bin yourself
We love the aft cabins. Our last 2 cruises have been in aft cabins. Great review and content. Safe travels
We just got off the Mardi Gras 11/19 and had an aft balcony - cabin 10499. We love aft cabins and try to always book them. This balcony was bigger than we have had on other ships and was the highlight of our cabin. An extra bonus is that you overlook the pool and can people watch in addition to enjoying that aft ship view. Most aft cabins don’t overlook anything on the ship. However, the MG cabin itself was the smallest cabin we have ever had and the bathroom size was even worse. I have to say that we were disappointed in that. It appears Celebration is exactly the same design. Also we were told that you shouldn’t book the upper decks cause the Bolt will drive you crazy when it runs.

We had a standard balcony 10288 on Mardi Gras. It was a big balcony that had 2 chairs, a lounger, and a table. Would be interested in seeing if the same cabin on Celebration has the same.
The first time on Mardi Gras had 10301 which was on other side of ship and we had the same. A few RUclips channels said those cabins bumped in were not good but they were completely wrong. I booked same area next month on 14th deck.
We are booked in the exact cabin for NYE next week..
Normally, we love extended aft balconies, as long as they don't cost that much more.. we had a bargain on the Carnival Sunrise and really loved the wake view, and we even talked to our neighbors through the balcony.. However, some cruise lines charge a large premium for aft balconies... Carnival sometimes sells aft balconies as Havana cabins and that gets expensive... so, if it isn't too much of a premium, aft balconies are great... still love the Ocean Suite!
We sailed on Mardi Gras in February and had 14504 loved the view but the lack of privacy killed it for me😩
Great room and I can easily book an aft balcony but we prefer Cove balconies. Private, close to the water, and quiet nightly. Also no issues with smoking, or partying. Mid-ship is best. Keep cruising! 😎
Thanks for the info. We have extended aft balconies on the Carnival Celebration for our cruise. I have been trying to see what the rooms look like in advance. I have seen several videos now and I am totally confused. Some show the sofa next to the balcony and some show it next to the bathroom when you enter the room. Maybe this is an extended balcony, but not aft? How can I find out for our exact rooms. I am more confused now then when I saw the first video on You Tube. We are in rooms 11518 and 11515. Any help is appreciated.

We are trying to book a cruise in the horizon for 8 days at the end of Nov. We are seeing it for approx $1900 but we are waiting for the price to get a little lower we went with a ta on our last cruiae but they didn't save us any $ :(
Do the balcony dividers open?
Odd that the bed is closest to the door than the couch.
