I’ve actually done both ways and the problem with running the wire as you go is you get PVC glue all over the wires and it makes the joints a little more difficult. It’s actually super easy to pull the wire through with the fish tape after the fact. But yes you could do either way. :)
Awesome detail & well done 👍, how do you also install another outlet on the same post that is 240v ? I am installing a 110v out on a post for a water feature pump but previous owners already had a 240 v line installed for a hot tub that was hardwired but no post ? I want to put two outlets on same post 110 & 240 . Thanks again for such a well done & detailed video . 👍⚾️
Thank you! There are some larger outdoor outlet boxes that will take a 110v receptacle alongside a 240v receptacle. Might also be easier just to mount two boxes side by side on the post if possible. Should be doable!
I wish u were my neighbor….nice work.
Haha thank you! :)
IKR 😂
Brilllllliant - excellent vid/editing. Lucky on the soil - dug that like it was butter.
Thank you! You're right about the soil - made this job much easier!
I would’ve ran the wire as I went along. So much easier. As I did in future projects.
