the bars was a 10, not the 9.975 they gave her. I think they're underscoring her compared to some of the other scores i've seen so far this year (especially to some gymnasts whose difficulty level is much lower).
Yeah i watched it several times trying to find the error. There was a spot i saw they might've deducted for leg separation or maybe they thought she started her pirouette too early. Idk that's all i saw but imo it was so slight i think its too picky for collegiate
@@hexa3171 the problem is that you run into a difficulty ceiling. There needs to be an incentive to add difficulty such that a really good really hard routine will beat a literally perfect "easy" routine.
@@nightcross1030 They can incentivize difficulty by making it harder to start from a 10.0 like they did on vault. If they implemented a full on open ended scoring format, the elites would completely dominate and injuries would likely increase.
@@hexa3171 right. The problem is the upper bound on a score. I don't care how they do it, but it needs fixing. The current "not 10 point scoring" used works very well, and is a solution.
well she’s already above and beyond for college since it’s mainly level 10 difficulty and not elite and she’s trying to stay healthy and ncaa season is very long, so i’m sure she’ll show up and show out for elite so watch out for her at classics and championships
in college because you compete every week and care more about consistency you do lower difficulty. She'll be doing either a DTY, Khorkina, or Cheng vault for elite this summer
In elite they get awarded for difficulty, NCAA they dont. Her throwing more difficult skills just wouldnt be worth it here. Her Beam + Bars are more than a 10.0 SV tho
@@etheldingleberry8075 Are you saying that because Hmong people can be considered ethnically Chinese? Because the same can be say for the majority of Taiwanese individuals as well, but as both groups identify separately from China it’s only respectful to not continue to call them such.

I love how openly proud of herself she is now
Queen.
Amazing so beautifu,l fantastic performance congratulations, watching from Greece ❤❤❤❤
Wow, her vault and the beam dismount were so cool!
Greatly appreciated, wonderful performance congratulations 👌👌👌
WOW!! That was Amazing 💃🏻🙏🏽🕊💪🏽
She has matured a lot and her routines are Olympic bound. Great job
I mean she was the Olympic champion 😂😂😂
Her dismounts are soooo clean!
Such a beautiful gymnast!!
It's been so cool watching her have a collegiate career. She seems like she's having so much fun 😭
So beautiful to watch her all rounds🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
So happy for her
My idol , Suni your amazing.
Magnifique, quel talent, quelle jolie fille et quel travail en amont... félicitations.

I watched again frame by frame and it has to be the leg separation after the pak salto. We'll never know though 🤷🏼♀️
Suni had a fair sized leg separation on the Maloney, and a slight one on the back uprise just before the Deltchev.
I think it was from the full pirouette right before the dismount being a bit shy of the handstand position
I am super curious to see these Olympic gymnasts go back to elite after college. I think it will be super beneficial to their elite careers.
Suni Lee - 2024 Paris all round champion 👸
She is still the best.
very good
Very very nice ❤❤
She is so good and popular for the Hmong community and USA.
Very good
Heavy Duty.
I love her pushing the difficulty on beam but she had so many wobbles how did she get a 9.85😭😭
Wobbles are very minor deductions, as well as the fact that the difficulty is so high they have to score her based on that.
Es fantástica
Por qué no estuvo en el campeonato mundial 2023, representando a EEUU
Ładna perfekcyjna gimnastyka choć trudna ale wspaniale wykonana no i odważne gimnastyczki które dają dużo emocji oglądającemu .

Has anyone ever received a 10 on each apparatus in the same competition?
yes
Karin Lichey did in 1996!
only once Karen Lichey
Yes it's called a gym slam. Kyla Ross did it multiple times.
@@laurenw.8009 Gym slam means the gymnast has a perfect 10 on every event. The 10s do not have to be given out during the same meet.

They really really really need to move away from the 10-point scoring
No. The judges just need to start actually taking deductions.
