From what I understand, combining fats and carbohydrates can lead to insulin resistance. Instead, we can boost our fiber intake with lettuce and veggies, which help slow sugar absorption. Plus, fruits can make a great meal on their own, especially those high in water content! 🍉🍏 🥗 Personally, I like to have two meals of fruit and carbs during the day, then I enjoy plant-based fats in the evening, usually with a salad if I'm in the mood. I wish I were in the place where I could watch sunrise every morning without the clouds mountains cold winds and rain hindering it. I live in the mountains where it is always cloudy or raining and cold weather throughout the year. And even if the morning sky becomes clear huge mountains hide the sun till it is 10 am in the winters and 8 am during Summers even though sunrise is 5 am or 6AM

Namaste! Everyone says have dinner before sunset like Jainism. Yet, I would like to mention here that this is possible only when all are staying at home. When family members are working and commute for work it is impossible. I belong to a lovely family and we waited for my father, uncle, brother and myself to be back and enjoyed our meals together and all are and have been healthy. It is more important to have amazing time at dinner with family than having dinner before sunset.. My experience and pov. Regards
Sunrise and sunset are dramatically different from summer and winter here. In the summer the sun rises very early and sunset finishes around 10pm. During winter, sunset is closer to 530.

It is very hard to follow this lifestyle with consistency in a city but very easy when one is living alone or closest to the nature. Also, the sun is also not visible due to less greenery. Even if one do struggle to follow then consistency gets disturbed due to n number of distractions not allowing or understanding the yogic lifestyle. I think this is the common problem of people living in a city who are not able to stay consistent in this path due to long hours working-culture and other environmental factors.
yeah you're right but ther is no hack for the sun. simply no substitute exists, the point of this video isn't to make city people feel deprived, but to encourage them to find solutions

Vanakkam Guru. I'm new to your content and really enjoying it. I'm a South African of Indian descent via the Indentured Labour system in the late 1800's. Very much a practicing Hindu, as is most of my family, but the majority of us are not vegetarians. Will I benefit anything from meditation, yoga and these other practices mentioned in this video as a non-veg eater? Whenever I want to try and meditate, I think "what's the point? I ate meat today" and then I end up not doing anything... But I really want to start some kind of spiritual practice other than my daily morning prayer at our shrine at home.
