A Haunted House Movie Description:
Young couple Malcolm (Marlon Wayans) and Kisha (Essence Atkins) have just moved into their dream home. As they settle in, they learn that they're not alone -- not because the house is haunted, but because Kisha is possessed by a demon. Desperate to salvage his relationship -- and more importantly -- his sex life -- Malcolm hires a coterie of paranormal specialists, which includes a priest and ghost busters, to banish the unwelcome intruder from Kisha's body.
A Haunted House is a 2013 American horror satire film directed by Michael Tiddes, written by, produced by and starring Marlon Wayans. Although Wayans said the film was "not exactly a parody but rather a movie with funny characters doing the opposite of what typical people do in similar horror films," the film pokes fun at the "found footage" horror genre, such as Paranormal Activity and The Devil Inside. It was released on January 11, 2013 and was panned by critics, but grossed $60 million against a budget of $2.5 million. A sequel, A Haunted House 2, was released on April 18, 2014.

This is a great reaction. This was the first Wayan's movie since 1995, "Don't Be A Menace..." that made me laugh HARD!!! I never saw the Paranormal Activity movies, either, but if you know the premise... It's gonna be funny. Also the female lead reminds me of my wife! LOL

There is a video where Marlon himself tells Tiffany why she was never in a Wayans brother movie. She has auditioned for all of them but they never cast her. Marlon told her himself on live TV, "it's because you do too much, way too explicit." Which was crazy coming from him, he is the craziest one out of his family.
From what I heard was she never took any part of making the movie seriously and was always trying to hard at times

I love this movie and the second! I grew up watching the wayons brothers. Don’t be a menace in south central while your drinking your juice in the hood was one of my favorites.
This was the first R rated comedy movie my stepdad showed me I loved how it’s a complete spoof of Paranormal Activity and my favorite scene is Malcom’s sex tutorial with the plushies
I remember in an interview Marlon Wayne’s said that his favorite type of comedy were the jokes that made people uncomfortable because it would pretty much make you part of the joke in a way it was funny I remember Norm Macdonald had said the same thing i’m kind of surprised that he thinks Tiffany Haddish is too crazy though

I haven't seen this movie in years, but you should check out the sequel. I forgot how funny & how scary this is. If the movies this was satiring weren't existing, this could stand as it's own film.

This flick has some moments that'll have you gasping for breath you're laughing so hard. Then they surround it with a lot of filler jokes that really don't land. Before you dismiss it because of that, the same thing worked in Airplane... so your individual enjoyment may vary.

I'm actually somewhat surprised by his take considering I actually rewatch this movie for the first time in a while and for me every joke landed maybe it's because I get the references as well and maybe it's because I purposely watched it until enjoy the Ridiculousness of it and the humor of it

When I babysit my buddy’s kid, he will do that from time to time, wouldn’t say a word but would just stand there till I woke up, poor little guy had bad dreams. From what I’m told that’s a pretty common thing with really little kids.
