For years I've done a pretty good job at talking myself out of buying a knife from Benchmade. I finally couldn't do it any longer and ordered this Bugout today.
@@DirkWerning I was excited when it finally showed up, I pulled it out of the box and went to flick open the blade, I couldn't. So I tried to pull back on the lock, It wouldn't budge. Turns out, whomever put the knife together, tightened the pivot screw as tight as they possibly could. It took a half turn just to get it to barley open, another half turn to get it so I could flick the blade out. The QC issues have always kept me from buying their knives. Here we go, the first knife I bought from Benchmade has a QC issue. So now I have to worry if I just ruined the warranty of this $250 knife.
