Awesome stuff, sir! Really helpful but for question b can’t you just use the alternate angle theorem and subtract the 5 degrees you found in part a plus 90 degrees (angle between east and south) and subtract from 360 degrees to find the final bearing?

Nice explanation of Bearings. Didn't know they were computed from the North to the line of travel.
there are other ways but yes that is one of the most popular
