I just really like Bryan Cranston's attitude. He is always so happy and cheery and so down to Earth. I'm glad he has been receiving so much praise and credit for his accomplishments over the past two decades alone.
When his eyes were watering up describing his father having that 10 minutes of peace listening to the ballgame in the driveway... Damn. I saw my grandfather take those moments. Now I do, too.
I was looking for this comment. That was so sad, his eyes were getting red and you can tell he was trying to hold his tears in. Stay strong guys ! God Bless yall.
Samuel Jackson was always THAT uncle! Every movie. He's just that uncle to me. Catch him on a good day, best day in the world! Catch him on a bad day, just know your mind will be blown!🤯
OMG, I found tears coming down my face when Denzel was getting whipped - Him and Viola Davis can sure make you feel exactly what they are portraying. I love them both :)
And that was just a tiny portion of that scene. That whipping felt like an eternity, and the subtle progression of his expressions perfectly conveyed his agony. I felt each and every lash with him. I’ll never watch it again.
@@normiejeanj yes that was a horrible scene it made you almost feel it... But even that is not a glimpse of the horrible things they went through back then.. too horrible for our minds to imagine.
Denzel Washington is one of the most intelligent people we have ever had the benefit of hearing speak. The wisdom the man possesses always seems to have no end. He's obviously benefitted from his having the ability to realize learning is a journey not a destination.
Denzel is definitely in my top 5 actors. Not only his acting, but who he is as a genuine human being. He is so real and authentic. So unapologetic yet respectful of every person he talks to. This man is a role model for young men of any race.
Between Denzel and Samuel Jackson, I don't know who I love the more and the strange thing is that it's for totally different reasons but I love them both so much nonetheless. Brian Cranston's story is a cautionary tale to keep playing till the last whistle. Great episode overall, such rich life histories, I so thoroughly enjoyed it.
I think that's one of the signs of a true master- when you set them alongside a peer and they each measure up for different reasons, then they both stand their ground as masters.
The best 40 minutes I spent today. All three actors are super super amazing especially Denzel. I absolutely loved Brian as well. Haven't watched many movies of Samuel L Jackson but I know for sure that he definitely is a star. All three celebrities are super super genuine.
Huge Denzel fan. I'm white. 57. Republican. My favorite, most exciting movie I've ever seen is Malcom X. I love Denzel. He makes DeNiro look like a grade schooler.❤
I love that you like Denzel, but why add that you're a Republican? Or your race? In hindsight, those things don't matter when it pertains to this particular situation
IMO, Denzel Washington and Tom Hanks are the greatest actors of their generation. It almost seems as if they'll get an Oscar for every role they play and for everyone else it's "Thanks for coming."
Philadelphia breaks me down every time I watch it. Having had several friends come out as gay, and the hysteria over AIDS , heightens my profound sadness for Andy(TH) and the growing awareness by Denzel (Andy’s lawyer)that AIDS wasn’t a plague and he gets over his homophobia to admire Andy and fight for his rights. I got to comment. As I grew up I always watched Sidney Poitier, loved his movies. Than for me their was a gap, at least for me as far as acting in movies. Here's a celebrity who I could get behind running for office. A person with brains, vision and heart. That's what this country really needs. Denzel that is.
The scene in fences where Denzel says “it’s not easy to admit I’ve been standing in the same place for 18 years and Viola say “well I’ve been standing right here with you “is one of the most powerful scenes I’ve seen, and at 62 and a avid tv and movie watcher I’ve seen many.

I remember him from the soap opera 'Ryan's Hope', and I enjoy his acting, but I can't support him because of his connection to Scientology.
Malcolm in the Middle is a classic! Absolutely love that show. So many quotable lines!
Brian Cranston is brilliant! Just found him in “Your Honor” and can’t stop watching it. Amazing acting and writing. I recommend it’s a great watch!
