Have you ever made something similar to this where you put a cylinder/sealed tube (like an aluminum cigar tube) in from the top to create a hole? when you remove it from the mold, I would guess you’d put your block on the top where the hole is then drill through the wood base into the opening where you would be able to put some kind of a bulb inside like a night light. That would be really cool with the Lego cast because of the translucent neon colors.

that would have made an awesome night light if you had drilled through the wood and put a light up in the middle of it so that the light shined thru it would have been awesome

@@nickzammeti Love all your videos, but maybe a few small barrel Legos superglued together in a stack and then a round circle 4dot Lego superglued on top of the others as a finial instead ==0 style
@@nickzammeti I would like to see you do some work with a vacuum chamber. Maybe do a side by side comparison of something done with a pressure r pot and a vacuum chamber.

I really like how you used that wire(?) to burn that bit on the wood because it looks so great with the finial! I have seen other RUclipsrs using a vibration machine to remove a lot of microbubbles from their resin and it seems to help particularly with when they do inserts like this project

Hey nick, what happens if you take the shavings from a project like this, and put them into resin? Do you still see the shavings that are resin and just the little bits and pieces of what you put into it?
I love the use of all the mediums in one piece. And then shining light through was the icing on the cake!

Awesome, but if 90% of your projects are containers i would try to use a waste or hollow core so you dont waste the cool material (would also make the jar larger) or if its larger use a bowl cutter to hollow it and get 2 containers
That looks awesome! Too bad about the chip out. You should try another one but with only connected UV Green cylindrical pieces. It should be more structurally sound and it'll look like Uranium Glass.🤙

I think we found the one thing more antithetical to Lego as a company than super gluing Legos. And that's saying a lot because The Lego made a 90 minute movie dissing on people who I'm super glue their Legos. Though I must admit, I do find it. Oddly satisfying

I really need to be careful watching your videos, I almost choked on my pot noodles with those LEGO Batman scenes 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Absolutely fabulous that jar is the dog's bollocks!
I'm always sad when you're sacrificing LEGO like that, but the end result is fun.
Now, if you want a REAL Challenge, you should make and entire minifig sculpture (2.5 feet high) in a similar fashion mixing wood in.

In Germany Lego will send you a letter from a lawyer, when you call something Lego, when it's not Lego brand. Don't know, how this work in the UK, but be careful. Dealing with the lawyers of Lego is nothing, you will deal with.
