Jumping Spider

This is a male jumping spider, you can tell by its large bushy pedipalps (the fuzzy boxing glove-like appendages covering its face). Jumping spiders produce silk, but do not spin webs. They are active fast hunters that can jump. They have some of the best vision in the invertebrate world.
