Wow. What score for a debut on the channel! The Oral Cigarettes is not just any Japanese band by the way. They are one of the most popular Japanese Rock bands in Japan. Band-Maid, Nemophila and Lovebites get more attention and engagement with English-speaking fans, but none of them hold a candle to the popularity that The Oral Cigarettes has back home with the Japanese. In Japan, it's The Oral Cigarettes that are the ones packing out arenas and topping the charts.This song here "Kyouran Hey Kids" was the opening theme song to the second season of the anime series "Noragami."
A good performance and a good song, though I wouldn't go so far as to call it one of my favorites (I prefer Dreaming Drive (which was used as the theme song for the game Scarlet Nexus) to this song personally). I actually first heard this song via BrokeNSings' cover of the OP version of it as it was used in S2 of Noragami (S2 being called Noragami Aragoto), which also how I first heard of the Noragami series itself.
