Wow !!....Simply the BEST videos I’ve seen for many years ? You are a true 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ! Well done, you have given me so much confidence to now strip down my new CAPRA. Look 4ward to seeing all your NEW upgrades ? 👍
Just built my first kit, the Capra of course. Thank you for your videos...as others have said, they helped me out in a few confusing spots! I also ordered the upgraded steering servo that you used.
Yeah it does pretty good for a budget servo! Of course there are better stronger ones in a higher price tier, but so far these seem to get the job done at the budge tier.
Great build tutorials and explanations. Thanks for taking the time to film everything. Good looking final results. I opted to use 2.2 whells/tires to get more space above portals. 1.9's need axial extenders, imo. Thx Again!
Thank you for watching. Luckily the 1.9's I used cleared the portals, but I am thinking about looking into 2.2s because I just bought front portal cover weights that don't fit inside the current wheels. We'll see, I really like the wheels on this buggy, so I might find different weights instead.
@@RevolutionX look into those axial extenders if you want to keep those wheels, and can "live with" the added width in the stance of your Capra. Have Fun, Bill
Great build series, will help me when i get my capra. What wheels did you use? I definitely want to upgrade from the plastic ones, just to get more weight.
Yeah, it's definitely something different from the normal scale trucks. It can do a lot, but there are still a few scenarios that a scale traditional frame rail chassis will do better at. It's definitely a fun rig though. I still like driving it!
Nice build. What brand batteries are you running. Got a GensAce shorty pack. Still had to hack up the battery compartment to make the battery to fit without having any pinched wires.
Hey, hopefully you'll see this, and if you do- can you post a link to the goat image on the side body panels? I really like it and for those who don't know...Capra in Italian = Goat.
I just found it using a Google search. I took the image, edited it in photoshop and printed it out to adjust sizing. Then I traced the image over masking tape and taped the inside of the body panel to mask off the shape.
@@RevolutionX Cool, thanks for the response! I am guessing that you also used photoshop to "flip" the image so that the goat is facing in the same direction on both sides? or did you find two separate images? Thanks again!
Thanks man! I really wish it were easier to show the pearl effect on camera. Seeing it in person is so much nicer! Whether it's Bumblebee or Kill Bill.... I'm happy with it!
Thank you so much! This series was on my build desk as I tried to decipher the manual. Highly recommended!
Glad it helped! ✌️

Thanks!
Awesome! Glad to hear that it was helpful for you!
Thanks for the build series on the Capra. Very informative and helped me during the building of my Capra. Your Capra turned out awesome!👍
Great to hear! And always glad if it helps someone. It's definitely a fun rig, and gives me a different experience than my scale trucks.
Turned out great. Love the yellow. 👍🏼
Thanks man, I appreciate that! I'm really happy with the way the color turned out!

This came out really nice man, looks like a BEAUTY! 👍
YES! I got the "Beauty" seal of approval from Shen RC! Thanks man, really appreciate it!
Who would have guessed the hardest part of this build is picking a paint scheme, 😁
Right?!!! I always have that issue on every build!
Capra looks amazing I really like what you doe to the rig. Everything about it is awesome great 👍 job on the build now let’s see it on the trails
Thanks man! You won't need to wait long. Tomorrow!
Nice build. Are you going to be bringing that out the next time out 👍
Maybe, not sure yet. I brought it out to CDM, and I plan on doing some upgrades soon. I'll run it at Elmo sooner or later though.
Great videos. Very helpful. Truck looks amazing. PLEASE tell me where you got the goat decal/mask. I've been looking for exactly that!
I made it. Just found some images on google, and created masks from them.
That's what I've been waiting for! Looks great!
Appreciate it man! I really like the way it's turned out, and I think it fits as a complement to my Yeti with a similar color scheme.
Nice choice of color came out really nice🙂👍
Thanks! Really wish the pearl effect was easier to see on camera though.
Great build series, will help me when i get my capra. What wheels did you use? I definitely want to upgrade from the plastic ones, just to get more weight.
I just used some beadlocks from eBay. You'll enjoy the rig! Have fun!
That came out great ..a year later do you still recommend getting it?
Yeah, it's definitely something different from the normal scale trucks. It can do a lot, but there are still a few scenarios that a scale traditional frame rail chassis will do better at. It's definitely a fun rig though. I still like driving it!
@@RevolutionX thanks brother

I am running a Hobbystar 3S 3700mah 100c lipo. Fits perfectly. I have a link to it in the video description.

@@caseypdx503 Yup, just used photoshop to flip the image.
Hello Love the build!! Where did you get the cool goat door decals?? Thanks
They're actually painted on from the inside. I traced a goat icon and made a mask on the inside panel.
Awesome bro great job on this build!
Thanks man, I really appreciate that! You'll see more of it in action Thursday!
Amazing, amazing job brother love those colors, sick brother
Thank brother! I wish I could get the pearl to really show on camera. In person the pearl effect with the yellow look fantastic!
@@RevolutionX I bet brother, awesome job there bro
Very cool. Paintjob... Did you do it with masking tape or liquid mask?
Masking tape. I traced out my design on masking tape, then I used an exacto knife to cut the shape out.
@@RevolutionX Thanks, looks very cool, I will try liquid mask at the Interieur at the moment, hope it will work
Big thumb up my friend
Thank you very much for your comment man! Appreciate it very much!
Love that color brother.. Very Bumblebee from the transformers... lol Very nice work.. :P
Thanks man! I really wish it were easier to show the pearl effect on camera. Seeing it in person is so much nicer! Whether it's Bumblebee or Kill Bill.... I'm happy with it!
Looking good
Thanks man!
What mm wheels did you go with on this? The ebay link shows 25mm or 30mm. Thanks!
They're the 25mm ones. The center ring is the standard 21.5mm size.
What brand wheels are them!
They're DJX wheels - ebay.to/2PA8YVD or Boom Racing Krait Sandstorms - asiate.es/aff?l=118653&i=65348
