Great Job! ...I just received my Capra kit and it will be my first time building an RC kit like this. Your videos are extremely helpful! Thank you very much.
Great video! I building the Capra now and I'm having a problem with the smaller gear I cannot put the housing over the portal. The piece will not fit down onto portal, it's like the gear is too tall and won't allow for the piece to fit onto portal.
It's been a while since I've worked on this axle, but I'd check to make sure that you have everything on correctly. Does it happen on both sides or just one? Is it the gear or is the axle shaft that is preventing the cover to be put on?
Do they sell these bags separately? I am looking to build a crawler based on capra axles, driveshafts and links. It is so difficult to get every single part and getting these bags would be amazing. Good video by the way
Awesome detail you display on your video brotha! I want one, but aren't sure which way to go, kit or RTR capra. Do you think the kit is beginner friend ly? For some like me, that's worked on electrical stuff before. But never built an RC.
It's hard to say, everyone has different level of mechanical aptitude, but I think for the Capra, there could be some confusion when assembling the transmission, but it's not too bad. The easiest kits to put together right now are either the Axial SCX10.2 Raw Builder's kit, or the Element Enduro Builder's Kit. The Axial SCX10.2 RBK has a very simple 3 gear transmission. The Element has a slightly more complicated, but still very simple transmission that has overdrive options. I'd go with the Element Enduro Builder's kit if you want to build a crawler for the first time, but the Capra is still a nice build if you want to tackle it head on right away, or further down the road.
@@RevolutionX yeah I'd like to buy the Capra, it just looks so good to me and seems to crawl so well. Now as far as the tires size, do you like the 1.9 or 2.2 better on your Capra? Because I was thinking 2.2 for more ground clearance but I hear people say other wise, like 2.2s are to big and heavy, etc . What's your take on that?
Thanks for watching! So far you can tell the plastic quality is much better in the axles than their previous kits. They seem to be sturdy enough, but will need to test and run the Capra a lot after I finish building to know for sure.
Yes, good point and that's usually best practice. I didn't know why I didn't here, but I did have everything correctly lined up and I screwed them in an alternating pattern to make sure it was even that way.
I wish they sold just axle kits like this. I want to build front n back for a project but dont know what to get indovidual wise. Amain is a Trash Site..

Have fun!
Great video! Just now getting a chance to binge watch your Capra build series! On to Part #2!
🤙👍🙏✌🤜 Thank for watching dude!
These are helping me so much, Axles done to the point of out covers, waiting on Brass... Thanks Sir.
I"m glad they're a help! It's why I make them! Are you going with the brass portal covers? They've been working great on mine.
Yes Vitavon, I've been flying for 30 years. This is my first ground RC. I guess Links and shocks next while waiting, cheers.
Nice dude the capra looks sweet!
Yeah the axles look really nice! Thanks for watching! Added you on Twitter too!
Cool building video, this will get a great car! Hope you've fun assembling it!
Thanks for watching! I'm definitely having fun building it!

@@RevolutionX Thank you for responding I fixed it.
@@devingable8467 I'm having the same issue, what was your fix?

Yes, they do sell all the axle parts for the Capra separately. REVolutionX RC wow thanks so much for your time and effort that really helps me out

Спасибо за видео. Какое впечатление от мостов?

Shouldn't you leave all of the bolts loose on the locker until you have them all in and then snug them in like a wheel

Great video 👍👍
Thanks man! Appreciate you watching! 👍
Getting cut up with your vids bro ,,, can wait to see your finish product,,, it's going to be awesome brother
Thanks man!
@@RevolutionX 🙏👍🤙✌Hooah brother
Did you notice any binding in the rear axel?
No, I actually didn't. I just made sure I didn't overtighten anything in the diff housing or the portal covers. They spun pretty freely for me.
what if it's missing parts?
I'd contact Axial directly. They're usually pretty good about taking care of those issues.

Yeah axle kits would be nice. I guess I could create a parts list when I have the chance.
