Great video fellas! Followed along and worked out smoothly with my 09 Silverado. Few adjustments to where some of the parts were located but all the same nonetheless!! (easy to pick up on too)

This worked perfectly for my 2007 Silverado LTZ (new body style)
The only thing I did different was after I popped the door cover off - I spun the cover 90 degrees & removed the electrical cable like that instead of risking damaging the wood grain pieces. The less that those little suckers come off the better because those little pins on the back are brittle.

So great video, as usual. A few trial and error tidbits when reassembling, for those of us in the "real world" - line up the foam sound barrier by placing on the door trim panel FIRST, not on the metal part of the door. This accomplishes two things: you line up the holes correctly, AND there are plastic grommets which you need to affix the foam onto the plastic door trim, that you can only do it you do it the way I suggest. Also, before you "batten down the hatches" on the door trim panel, make sure that the metal female fitting, in which you put a bolt in behind the door handle, is lined-up. If it's not lined-up, you'll have to pull the door trim away from the metal frame in order to line-up the female end with the bolt. Other than that, again, good and succinct video with no B.S. (unnecessary chatter).

Do these actuators need to come with the attached latch cuz I've read that vehicles require the latch combo they are attached together

I assume this is exactly the same for my Cadillac Escalade ESV 2008. If so, Is rear driver actuator for driver and passenger side the same? Where can I buy them from you directly? I see some of these actuators come with a cable attached and some only module. Which one do I need? Thanks.

I have problem with my Cadillac Escalade 2008. I assume its exactly like yours as shown in this video. Am I right? My problem: Lock motor sound like working and audible however door wont open or lock with remote. I can unlock, lock manually with pull and push of the lock tab. Is my problem actuator or something has come out of place/loss in mechanical chain of connections? As I can hear a working motor in the same door? Thanks for your helpful video.

+Chris Choske We wouldn't be able to diagnose an issue like that here, you may want to have a local mechanic take a look at it. Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c

Great job, as usual. First guy - don't say "these ones" when referring to the panel bolts. The use of "these" alone is sufficient, otherwise redundant.

Pretty lame that you have to press a button to turn it on. There should be some type of module plugged into one of the reverse lights (wireless) that sends a signal to turn it on. Also, besides having to turn it on before you reverse, it does not know when to turn off. So refined driving forward with this screen on with guidelines for 30 seconds haha! Ghetto
