Hi there, i've been subscribed for a few months now and i really like your no nonsense approach of things. You are the reason that i bought a nitro RC. I already have a few electric ones. Nitro is a blast! Your past is like mine, wrenching at everything since i was a kid. Glad i found your channel! Greets from a dutch guy living in Germany.
runs lovely that engine totally understand better to be safe than sorry as they say specially with the cost of these engines. thanks for the honest explanation and loved seeing that engine go seems really good runner :D
I loved it back then, the nitris were wicked fast and the brushed vehicles were no where near as fast. Now the brushless would smoke a nitro. Mine had come with a .26. When I wore it out after about 8 or 9ngallons of fuel, I put a .28 on it. I can't wait to get her going again.
My first rc car was a 1/10th scale Traxxas Bandit back in 2000. 2 weeks later I went and bought a 1/8 nitro. Sportwerks Mayhem. I just pulled them out after 23 yeats.
Pete is a legend mate .I exclusively use him for my 1/8 racing needs. I also run the b5r and it's been floorless I even much prefer it to my os engine which was twice the price
That’s right, the whole reason I went for Nova in the first place was because it was a new brand with old Novarossi staff. So that’s right up my street, I like to try new brands especially if they’re made by old school people. I’ve only for two of them but I’m extremely happy with them. And it only made sense to buy them from the UK importer too! It just so happens they’re sound people 😎😁
Sounds nice and responsive, that buggy looks planted , you could do some speed runs on that bit of road when theres no lorrys there , stay safe mate 🇬🇧
Well, I’d recommend Nova but what ever you go with, definitely go to Answer-RC to buy it because they have them all and great prices and customer service too!
Glad you sorted it seems good so far just get a race tune on it and she fly. take a day off and get your arse down a track and give it some and make her fly high
@@HaggardRC yeah he was at my local track NDOR Nottingham Derby he had his Xray and i was running my Sworks Worlds Edition and TKI2 and he also runs reds engines like me he good bloke
love it mate!!! almost as fast as my hobaos :D lmao... just pulling your leg. very nice mate id lovve one myself lol got 2 buggies though mate, buuuttt you know me ill most likely get another soon lol
Great video m8 the high end is making the engine bog but if your running it in you want it as rich as you can I have two agama one a 319 and a 215sv whith reds gen 3 engine and two of them b5 engines can not beat the sound the smoke and the smell of nitro
Ahh! There you are! I was looking for the convo in Instagram but it’s vanished! And I couldn’t remember your name on there lol. I wanted to show you the buggy with its new engine!
I too am a plant operative all sizes of 360s..loading shovel crushers..etc..get to play all day in big toys..and now it's spring I get to take my boys toys to rip about on all kinds of terrains at break times..wot a great time to be alive👍
Nice... i may have to try one of the newer Nova Evo motors, cant decide if it would be a 3 or 5 port, but it would definitely be going to Drake for the EBIS oil bath process... For now , my son has an AD3 in his buggy, which has about 2 gallons or a bit less on it, and i have a brand new FP02 Flash Point to break in, as well as a Ty2 low profile engine that just had a service for us to play with some this summer... Glad the engine is working out for you, maybe it would still be a good idea to give it a rod after a gallon or 2? Let me know what you think about doing that, I have debated that idea for my son's AD3 once it gets another gallon or so on it, a rod and bearings... Do you have a dirt track near you to race that buggy, or to turn some laps? Cheers
Answer-RC Do oil bathing if you wanted that. And there probably are tracks near me but that doesn’t interest me my wife would give me a hard time if I went out for the day for my own benefit.
big respect to pete at answer-rc he a great bloke honest chap and had a lot of experience in the racing world highly recommend going there :D

Your be very surprised how fast nitros are know days buddy I wouldn’t be surprised if 1/8 modded nitro would go faster than a 1/8 brushless car
Wow I hope so. It's been over 20 years since I fired her up. I HOPE SOOOO
