  • I am slowly getting my dog Bron use to riding in the back of me, and a lot higher up than his sidecar that he's use to riding in. So far so good, because it doesn't feel like I've got a lot of weight back there with him in the crate. And also he seems to not be as nervous, and wanted to go again today so that's a good sign he likes it. I know a lot of you are going to say that's stupid and so unsafe for my dog and blah blah blah... i don't want to sound rude but I don't care what you think. I'm going to train my dog to ride with me when I want him to and if he doesn't jump up and want to go I'm not going to force him. Also this isn't for riding on the highway or hitting triples or double jumps with him on. This is for cruising at around 10mph or 15 and taking trails mostly with no other traffic. Aging I'm getting a Honda XR150L soon, and we'll see if he wants on that bike... please subscribe to help support the channel ‎@EbikesandMore

Great idea of walking alongside the bike & dog to build confidence 👍

Thanks! He is getting more and more comfortable now on my new Honda XR150L. So yes, walking alongside him and training has paid off so far! Soon, you'll see him in my video's riding with me. I am confident in us now, but not so much with distracted and bad drivers on the roads! Thanks for watching!

Love seeing the things you do for Bron. He’s a lucky little boy. Guessing that he took to the crate so easily because even though he’s higher, he’s closer to you which he must love.

Yes I think he's more comfortable, and likes to be so close to me for sure. Thanks for watching, and the nice comments! Some people when I posted a picture of this to a Facebook page acted like it was animal cruelty or something, and acted like I was trying to hurt my dog intentionally. I love Bron, and obviously will do anything for him, and want to make sure he has fun but stays safe. Thanks again!

@@EbikesandMore Sorry about all the negative comments you got on Facebook. Actually, it’s great seeing the ways you incorporate Bron into your activities because life is way more fun when you have your dog with you. No way are you even close to abusing him.
I’m always searching the internet for tips and techniques for riding a bike with my dogs so when I found your video of Bron’s sidecar I was hoping my husband would try to do the same but he’s not as creative or mechanically inclined as you are. At least I can enjoy watching you and Bron. Looking forward to your long road trip with him.
      Have a happy new year!
