Hi Cindy, thank you. Yes, I know how hard it is to start a new craft (I've started many over the years!) and I wanted to really speak to those new makers. I love sharing my ideas and get a lot out of helping people. Enjoy.
I made for my G'dau' Christmas tree earrings. By making a flat wire coil them stretching out to form a cone shape. added 4mm green bicones interspersed with different color beads. Really easy. I guess you might have done a tutorial on this Carol. Thanks again for teaching us.
That sounds great, Steve. I can visualise what you are talking about. I have only done one Christmas tree earring tutorial which you can see here: ruclips.net/video/BGuGH6MZEdA/видео.htmlsi=Uo5uCZVM7VxBqqVY I have found that Christmas tutorials don't do very well.
Yes, I do make jewelry by season and by occasion. It seems summer brings lighter color and lighter fabrics so I tailor to that as well as doing longer and heavier pieces to go with turtlenecks and heavier sweaters.
I'm loving watching your videos and have just made myself my first ever memory wire bracelet inspired by this video. Thanks for your super easy to follow tutorials
That's a great idea! So quick and easy too. I have lots of other memory bracelet tutorials if you're keen to mix it up a bit. ruclips.net/p/PLPf_M492CDQMyQ0su0peTx5YPJlWJ2sdW&si=cz-94Pznf4kV5-SV
Thank you, Linda. I think that I don't generally because our seasons are all very similar. We have winter and summer really. The spring here is cold and wet and the autumn is hot and dry like summer. If I lived somewhere that there were 4 seasons I would be much more inclined to.
I was looking at the jewlery color of the year being peach. Would you consider demonstrating an earring, necklace, bracelet set? I also make hair accessories and would love some jewlery ideas that I could match either a fun or elegant bow with.
Hi, Im Lize and I just started making jewelry and I just love your channel. You really show and explain so easy. I love purple and yellow but everything you make is just beautiful. Im fromSaldanha in the west coast in South Africa❤ thank you again, I will be watching and learning from you🩷
@@The_Stylish_Maker Hi just want to say that I am from SOUTH AFRICA. From a little town called Saldanha in the Western Cape.💜🥰 and want to thank you for your reply. I just really love watching you create such beautiful jewelry💛💚
Newer to your channel, and had noticed you wearing this in another video and wondered if it was one round and round strand. It’s pretty! I don’t typically change up my jewellery from season to season…I’m a more traditional style. I do have a few statement piece sow and then, but those are more related to the outfits. lol
Thank you Marjorie. I am the same. I do tend to wear lighter pieces in the summer, however, just because it's hot. I'm glad you like this bracelet. Memory wire bracelets are the best!
Hallo from Australia, Carol! Love your tutorials, thanks so much!! Please tell me, is all memory wire the same thickness? And thinenough for beads with smaller holes?? God Bless!
Hello Elise, nice to meet another "down underer" (is that a word!). Memory wire does come in different thicknesses. I have some that is 18 gauge, so quite thick, and some that is more like a 20 gauge. It really does depend on the size of the beads. I find this wire gauge chart quite useful. You can then see what size the holes in your beads are and choose the correct gauge of wire. rings-things.com/blog/wire-jewelry-101/#:~:text=24%20gauge%20jewelry%20wire%20is,good%20general%2Dpurpose%20wire%20gauge.
That's a great question - thank you. It really depends on what you're making. This was a fairly simple piece so I didn't lay them out but I often do. This is a really old video where I do that. ruclips.net/video/4jfXIHeucsQ/видео.htmlsi=9dxDa-XYnpt95bzr
Thank you so much Marmalade for your comment. While I love bright colours, it doesn't ever quite translate into my jewellery for some reason. Maybe I need to make more of an effort in that area.
Love it. I am new here and also a beginner at juwelry making. Do that site ship internationally ( to the netherlands)? If not i must search for those materials here 😊 Thank you for your tutorial 😊
I do make a few seasonal pieces, such as Czech maple leaf bracelets in fall colors, or maybe some bright spring colored items. But most of my jewelry can be worn year round. Thanks for the tutorial, I've yet to make a memory wire bracelet!
@@auntTdesigns thank you so much. Memory wire bracelets are such a lot of fun and the possibilities are endless. Thanks for your response regarding seasonal jewellery. I find it very interesting.
Thanks for this amazing video! Can I use gold plated stringing wire for this project since that's what I have at home? It is it better to buy the memory wire? Thanks!
Hi Heather, great question. Memory wire is completely different to stringing wire. Memory wire holds its shape. If you want to make a multi strand bracelet out of stringing wire you would need a multi-loop clasp or connector. Here’s a multi strand bracelet I made with stringing wire. ruclips.net/video/qrnrYz82u-E/видео.htmlsi=aI283TowW3FsuK4E
I love making jewelry, but I don't really wear much besides earrings (I'm an odd-ball who feels hot and claustrophobic when wearing jewelry). As for seasonal, I don't pay attention to that as much as I do whatever color or design strikes my fancy, though many end up seemingly "seasonal" due to color choice. I do make a few specialty pieces - for example, Christmas and 4th of July, which I find a lot of fun, but I'm also aware that if I give them as gifts people will only wear them on the particular special occasion and they can get thrown in the jewelry box and forgotten about.
Thank you Deborah. It's always interesting to hear what others do. You won't believe this but, until about 20 years ago, I never wore jewellery at all!
Hi PJ, I totally get it. That's kind of why I bought my shop! You can of course, order from us but the shipping is higher. Whereabouts in the US are you. What specifically are you looking for? I can try and find something close to you.
I like to wear what I like, I don’t care if I wear bright colors during winter. My jewelry makes me happy so I’m probably breaking all the rules, sorry🥰
Not at all Renae. I was just speaking with a style consultant yesterday who said she wears more neutrals in the summer and more colours in the winter. I do the same - exactly the opposite to what the "experts" say. In my opinion, you should wear what makes you happy and you look and feel good in. Thank you for your comment.
I'm 50 and just started making jewelry. I came upon your channel and loved that you cater to us new makers.

What a beautiful bracelet. The colors together are gorgeous. ❤
Thank you so much. I really appreciate that. I wanted to create something soft and these beads worked so well together.
This is a lovely bracelet

Never thought about this method. Can't wait to try one of these.
Thank you Linda. I hadn't either but I really love how it turned out.

I tend to make pieces to match outfits for myself or just pretty pieces for family and friends.
