Hello wonder-pants, thank you so much for joining me once more for another jewellery-making tutorial! Sometimes something that seems basic isn't that well known how to do it properly, like with memory wire and needing the correct cutters! In this video, I show you how to create your own strong memory wire bracelet with a handmade clasp! If you've seen my previous video you will know about the right cutters! I’m using Rhodonite chip beads. You can use whatever calls to you!
You will need
Round nose pliers
Needlenose or chain nose pliers
Memory wire cutters
Memory wire
Beads of your choice
0.8mm (21 gauge) wire of your choice
optional:
Hammer & block

I've never put a clasp on a memory wire bracelet. However... I do put a little chain on (about an inch or so). I'll try your way!!

I soo appreciate your videos, but I wish as a newbie, your hands were in view at the very start of your loop because mine doesn't look anything like yours,ahahaha but I couldn't even see how you were holding the wire when making the first loop because mine is desaturious,lol❤❤❤
Oh no I’m so sorry!!! I was still very new to recording my work when I filmed this and I usually work on my lap 😅 keeping my hands in the frame was / tricky! Which loop is it you’re referring to? Perhaps one of my other videos might be better? I have one for the clasp making as a stand alone video! Let me know, maybe I can make a short or something for you ✨💜🫶 but also, all our loops are terrible when we first start 😋 xxxx

Hi am new to memory wire how do you know what size to do so it will fit different wrist sizes please x
Hey lovely. There are a couple of different sizes available but not many, I think most producers of memory wire work to a standard size and from there you can get small and large. I think it depends where you are looking to buy from and they should all give a measurement. Because it comes in a coil it’ll be one size from the coil. You could make it so it can fit a larger size by adding a chain or some links to give stretch room or you can make the length you put the beads on shorter so it pulls inwards to make a smaller size.
