Geode Landscaping 101! | What to do with your Extra Geodes!!

- Good evening everyone! I hope everyone is having a marvelous Monday! Tonight, I share with you a project I started at the end of last week and was a TON of fun to create!
One of my MOST asked questions, especially from newcomers, is what do I do with all the extra geodes that I have? Now you may be asking, how can you have an “extra” geode!? They’re extra in the sense that most of them have been cracked open already and contain little to no cavity inside, so I haven’t got nearly enough space if I were to display every single geode that I’ve ever cracked.. Soooo, the “extras” typical pile up until I move them outside!
This time, I’m putting some genuine time and effort into creating an outdoor “geode-scape” in a portion of my yard! And I take you through each step, while keeping it as cost effective as possible and using only things I have in hand! I’m no expert, and as time goes on I’ll change and adjust things! (SPOILER: I ALREADY have a better idea for a part of the finished product that you see in the video.. 😅)

I absolutely loved this video! They way you show things and talk about it a little, the great music and you have a stunning garden!!! You did great... just remember those hostas can get huge and take over, when that happens it will mess with the ac unit. Dont let that happen in a few years. Again, love this video!!
I'm planning on doing some rock garden landscaping this fall. I was going to do it this spring but... WAY too many unexpected expenses came up so the project got delayed. My friend Cherie has some absolutely AMAZING geode landscaping. I NEED that! LOL

Deer ate most of our hosta again this year... got to love a good rock garden, we haven’t had our house too long so we’ve been dedicating a ton of time to landscaping instead of rockhounding

As they say in the meme world…. Consider this idea stolen! I actually pulled up all the patio blocks in my yard today…. This vid has given me some ideas! Hope the kiddos stay clear of it btw lol!
