I think another pro at least for me is safety having a big dog with me keeps the creepy people away also they are so smart my girl learned find Starbucks on our first day (my instructor found that to get past my anxiety was reward me)

@@megandmauiguidingpaws that's awesome! They truly are amazing creatures. And I do agree that it is somewhat for safety. Since I have a yellow lab, it's kind of hard to pass him off his safety because people don't really take him seriously as a safety dog ha ha

@@hope_is_freedom ha yah I didn’t think people would treat Maui that way but she’s a white standard poodle and people don’t think she’s a guide dog until they see her harness or in some cases see my leash wrap that says guide dog I am working I have several of those in different colors plus one that says I do t pet you while your working
