I think at least for me the con of a cane does have more limits I too feel more confident comfortable and independent with my guide dog canes are great for learning in the beginning
@@hope_is_freedom yes I have but I was trying to think if there was anything idk I think I am bias now I enjoy using a guide dog so much that the cane just isn’t for me anymore unless like Maui is sick or it’s just not a space that I feel Maui would be safe in
@@hope_is_freedom um it will be five years in October Maui turns 6 in January she is my first and I am lucky I was able to keep her she got sick the first week she came to my house and had to go back to Wisconsin for treatment but now we have a great bond
