@@chheinrich8486 bro atleast they're making videos about the older disney movies so if u dont like it then leave🤦♀️
@@yagurlholleh345 but leave it at, the old(good) stuff
I feel like a list where Samuel L. Jackson throwing homages to his other movies would be awesome. I.e. Number 1 on this list, Frozone and Nick Fury seeing a similar helicopter crash into a building, Nick Fury's headstone reading the quote that Jules Winnfeild often recited, etc, etc.
Here’s Johnny
I am your father from toy story 2 how is not on the list
I could not stop laughing when I saw The Godfather reference in Zootopia in theaters😂😂
Damn how old are you lol
I'm 29. I didn't see Zootopia in theaters; I saw it on Blu-ray. I recognized the godfather reference after I thought about it a little bit. And now that I look back on it I recognized the Jurassic Park reference in Toy Story 2 almost immediately.
My niece and nephews laughed their heads off while watching "Zootopia".
"I am your father"
Yes🤣i immediately thought,Oh its the godfather🤣
My dad laughed historically when Mr. Big appeared as a Godfather parody in Zootopia. That’s something I didn’t see coming
What does a historical laugh sound like?
@@ED-yy4te Like John f Kennedy
Duke Weaselton from Zootopia is also a play on words with the Duke of Weselton from Frozen. Both are voiced by the same guy. And the running gag in Frozen about everyone mistaking his name with “Weaseltown” just makes it even better.
It gets even better when you watch the not-so-great Disney movie, “Home on the Range”. It makes me want to know how long have Disney been putting a Weasley/Wesley joke in various movies?
Что за герцог
In "Finding Nemo" when Darla the fishkiller comes on the screen, they use the classic track from the shower scene in "Psycho."
😃
I always loved how these scenes were not only recreations, but also references to several different movies!!!
I can never get enough from watching Mr Big in Zootopia. Its just so accurately portrayed.
ik
Then you are going to love this: A series of Zootopia shorts will be released on Disney+. The first episode? A Godfather II parody starting Mr. Big!
@@juanrisa945 ooh
@@juanrisa945 Oh my god really, the first episode?
That squeaky voice is hilarious. Every time the character spoke, my niece and nephews would laugh.
One of my favorites: in "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" when Quasimodo and the gargoyles fight against Frollo and his guards, Laverne impersonates the Wicked Witch of the West from "The Wizard of Oz" by sending all of the pigeons upon them, saying "Fly, my pretties, fly!" like the witch did with the flying monkeys. A snippet of the music even plays in the background.
Even the soundtrack during the "Mr Big" scene was similar to The Godfather
My favorite has to be the Oreo cookies chanting “Oreo, Oreeeeo!” A clear reference to Wizard Of Oz! 😂
Yes, i remember that scene from Wreck-It Ralph 2012, with the Oreo cookies, that was my
favorite part, that scene was funny, i laughed!
@@doorfscorporation2381 XD
That bit was brilliant! 😆
“You wouldn’t hit a guy with glasses?” always gets me. It was both well written and well played. Thus, America’s adoration for Alan Tudyk was solidified😆
LOVED the Breaking Bad reference in Zootopia!!
I should probably watch that show.
10 -Didn’t know that
9 -Scares me and didn’t know that
8 -I was a kid at that time and had no idea until one of my teachers pointed that out
7 -Huh? (Faint)
6 -Cool to know
5 -Didn’t know
4 -Everyone laughed at this and I got to admit, this is Disney Classic
3 -Oh, I get it
2 -Cool
1 -What?
In Finding Nemo, Bruce the shark is an Easter egg to Bruce the mechanical shark used in Jaws. Also, I thought the Monster's Inc. was a reference to Armageddon with Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck!
'The Right Stuff' came out in 1983, 'Armageddon' in 1998, and 'Monsters Inc' in 2001. So 'The Right Stuff' did it first.
I've always loved the classic reference in the Original Lion King where Pumba states "They call me Mr Pig". Referencing Sidney Poitier's "They call me Mr Tibbs"
Top 3 (In my opinion):
1. Here's Brucy from Finding Nemo
2. Rex finds a way from Toy Story 2
3. Mr Big from The Godfather
This was really tough because a lot of them I did not know the references or recreations and it was even tougher for Top 3, I just couldn't decide. I wished the scene in Toy Story 2 with Emperor Zurg being the father of Buzz Lightyear, which is a reference to Star Wars, was in the Top 10 because it is one of the best callbacks or references in movie history. It is so iconic that I would put it at number 1. Also is there a possible connection with the Godfather and Zootopia with that scene of Mr Big? There's a possible theory that Zootopia is an alternate version of the Godfather, something like that! That would be interesting!
All thanks to Mr. Big reference in Disney's "Zootopia" that how I got into Francis Ford Coppola's cinema masterpiece "The Godfather" back in 2016.
I love the star wars reference in toy story two I just laugh when buzz says"nooooooooooo!"
My favorite is from Coco where Miguel imitates the Andy DuFresne reaching up to the sky in the rain pose when the roar of the alebrije brings water raining down on Miguel and Hector. Nice shout out to The Shawshank Redemption.
Didn't even notice that, though I love both movies. Thank you!
You missed Pumbaa’s “What’d you call me?” When the hyena said “Who’s the pig?”
"They call me Mister Pig!"/ "They call me Mister Tibbs!"
Great line reference R.I.P Sidney poitier
Not Pixar.
@@tigerlord9302 But Disney.
@@tigerlord9302 Top 10 DISNEY/Pixar, soo . . .
It’s not Disney but The Godfather scene in the rugrats in Paris movie is really funny they call it the bobfather
Mushu was referencing Batman. He even had wings like a bat.
ya from the animated series no less. it was his catch phrase in the cartoon.
And the cricket is posing like Robin.
The Shape of Water
🐚 "Luca" (2021)
Even though this wasn’t mentioned, I have to go with I Am Your Father in Toy Story 2. Still makes me laugh to this day
I haven’t watched Toy story 2 since 2017 or 2018 so I don’t remember it, and that was the only time I watched it
It’s at the beginning of the video. They went with the Rex scene for the list though.
Yes, i remember that scene, with Luke and Darth Vader from The Empire Strikes Back but,
sadly, i don't remember, that being referenced in Toy Story 2.
Honestly, it makes me groan. I actually watched A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, and I was bored watching them.
I read that the cat in the original Godfather scene wasn’t scripted but a strange cat that wandered onto set and just inserted itself lol
Bruce in Finding Nemo is also the name of the shark in Jaws (at least the model on display at Universal Orlando).
Yes, the model they used for the movie was actually called Bruce (after Spielberg's lawyer).
Actually, the Monster's Inc. one was Armageddon when the drillers enter, complete with slowmo.
Which was a reference to The Right Stuff
@@DrGregoryHouseIT Ahh, thanks.
The crowning bit is that Randall is walking in the same spot as Steve Buscemi is in "Armageddon"'s scene. Randall is voiced by Steve Buscemi.
The "Godfather" reference was priceless, though much of the target audience will likely be too young to understand the joke!
Disney movies have long included jokes aimed at adults that go over little one’s heads.
Finding Nemo is one of my favorite Pixar movies.
Mine too.:):):)
@@jacobmaverickbueller.671 Haven't seen that movie in years
cause, i don't have the DVD anymore.
You forget when Toy Story 2 - Buz and Zorg met up and Zorg said : I am your father 😂
When Woody came to life In Front of Sid that was like a Child’s Play Chucky moment right there
Till this day I don’t know who is more scary; Bruce or Johnny?
Johnny can be scary while Bruce can be funny
Bruce. Bruce. Scared me when I was a kid
“Wouldn’t hit a guy with glasses on” goes way farther back than Batman. That was a joke reference in Looney Tunes cartoons of the 40’s! Which means it’s either a Marx Brothers gag or vaudeville
The part where woody ran and said theres no place like home. Well the carpet is also from the shining
My favorite Disney scene recreation is Mr. Big. It's really cute and funny, but so cool.
In toy story 2 when Zurg tell Buzz he his father, I also like when Pumba said they call me Mr Pig in the lion king
You forgot one important one,
“Emperor Zurg has been secretly building a weapon with the district I’ve capacity to annihilate an entire planet, I alone have information that reveal me this weapons only weakness.” (Buzz Lightyear)
Among many other Star Wars references in the Toy Story movies.
Buzz: And you, my friend, are responsible for delaying my rendezvous with Star Command!
Woody: YOU! ARE! A! TOY!!! You aren’t the real Buzz Lightyear, you’re a-you’re an action figure! You are a child’s plaything!
Buzz: You are a sad, strange little man, and you have my pity. Farewell.
Woody: Oh, yeah? Well, good riddance, ya looney!
This is for re-created scenes, not quotes.
19: Might be off topic but I love The Godfather parody Nickelodeon did for Rugrats in Paris: The Movie
They reference that one by Angelica actually catching a glimpse of that scene in the movie. My favorite scene is Coco yelling to take a picture after her underwear gets exposed, which several tourists promptly start doing.
I love the Mr big reference. Its a scheme that is used in Canada to get criminals to incriminate themselves. I dont think its used anymore though.
They missed the Toy Story 2 Zurg and Buzz scene, similar to that of the Empire Strikes Back Scene where Vader reveals he is Luke's father...was waiting for that, but it's okay! 🤣🤣🤣
That scene is included in the introductory montage.
For the Mulan honorable mention I more so got Batman vibes than Rambo. U clearly get Batman vibes
Also Batman wings/cape. And the cricket posing like Robin.
Buzz Lightyear at 6:03 recreate Ric Flair Theme song Wooo! 😯😭
Didn't see these coming but I totally remembered The Exorcist one!
I searched for The Swan Princess reference in The Princess and the Frog, and it’s hard to find. the reason is Naveen (in frog form) looks resembles and behaves similarly to Jean-Bob, Odette’s French frog friend, and the sphere of water when Facilier's spell is broken looks just like Odette’s transformation.
well if you look into it.. that was meant to be a love letter to animation as a whole with references to past works. like raymond has red/orange hair that similar in color to tigger. the frog in question does think himself to be the frog prince lol.
I wanna see this list again, But with DreamWorks Animation
The way the racer guy transforms into a monstrous virus is like the scene from Venom where Eddie Brock transforms into Venom
Disney tops are the Best tops of this channel , and That's why i like it. Happy friday Ms Mojo and i hope to see You soon for more , take care., And God bless You
Cute and funny creative about my favorite's are:
#1 Running away from the 🦖
#2 Hercules training karate
#3 Mulan reference from Rambo 2
I am your worst nightmare..!
Isn't number 2 also a reference to Armageddon ?
its more based on armageddon, cuz they did the slow walk.
@@azadalamiq I know but just sayin they forgot about it
Well, actually, both Armageddon and Monsters, inc. are referencing the same movie, that's why the scenes are so similar.
'The Right Stuff' came out in 1983, 'Armageddon' in 1998, and 'Monsters Inc' in 2001. So 'The Right Stuff' did it first.
U left out one important detail. The last one of die hard and Incredibles... Coincidentally both were same actors.
Can't believe nothing from Robin Williams' Aladdin's Genie impersonations made the list!
Still wondering and curious how actually small rodent makes polar bears as his capos.
You learn something new every day
Yup
That scene from "The Fly" is downright terrifying.
Speaking of which, Dr.Cockroach from Monsters vs Aliens is based on the Fly. I wanna see a DreamWorks version of this list.
I got flashbacks of seeing clips of “The Fly” at a bug exhibit in a science museum… along with other horror bug films like “Tarantula” …That was the last time I went to that section of the museum. 😰
Paradise Falls is based on the Angel Falls in Venezuela. Idk if you were implying just the reveal shot or if you meant the way the falls look.
A quite fun thing is that the Mulan reference is not the same with the Swedish dub that I grew up with.
In the Swedish dub Mushu instead says if you directly translates it: What do you think? Batman?
I also believes that scene refs Batman. Musha has those big bat wings, and the cricket is posing like Robin.
When I was young, I thought Mushu is doing a Batman reference until it was really Rambo when I got older
We need a part 2
Agreed.
I know the movies came out the same year but the train scene. The Incredibles and Spiderman 2, is a big one right?
20: How was I supposed to know “Here’s Brucy” is a parody from The Shining “Here’s Johnny?”
It’s literally the most obvious thing ever.
Bruce was the name of the mechanical shark in "Jaws". I figured that's where the name came from.
You were, if you had at least a bit of general/pop cultre...
Anyone who's ever seen 'The Shining' would spot that ref instantly.
I'm not a big fan of scary movies, but even I have watched that one- it's a classic of it's genre.
Someone saw Flash McQueen 0:59 in the left corner of Toys Story? 😯
I didn’t notice that at first! Pixar’s so good at adding cameos in previous movies!
Jafar's Palace (Aladdin) = Recreation of Jabba's palace in STAR WARS Episode VI Return of the Jedi
March of the Oreos (Wreck-It Ralph) = Recreation of March of the Winkies in The Wizard of Oz
awesome video 📹📹
The Godfather parody in Zootopia
That was funny!
DIDN'T KNOW?? How could you NOT know? Omg....😳
Sam is the greatest. I can’t decide if I love Nick Fury or Frozone more.
I think the line, "you don't hit the guy wirh glasses" came from a Woody Allen movie.
The Zurg one is profetic in hindsight
Thank you for this video I am big Disney Pixar Fun I love Disney and Pixar movie
The Godfather in Zootopia was definitely the best
Jafar's Palace (Aladdin)
March of the Oreos (Wreck-It Ralph)
8:52-8:56 that makes sense to me as an adult.
Honesty thought the Monsters Inc was a homage to Armageddon
Not a recreation but the reference of Brice the Shark is really funny
I'm always first to make a comment
Otto is the **AUTO**pilot.
Indeed! Those Pixar writers love a good pun. 😊
What about all things Disney from Enchanted? That should at least get an honorable mention.
'Enchanted' isn't a Pixar movie, so it's refs belong on a different list.
I thought Mushu was doing a Batman impression.
I think it was, too. Mushu is sporting big bat wings, and the cricket is posing like Robin.
Whoever's reading this,I pray that whatever you're going through gets better and whatever you're struggling with or worrying about is going to be fine and that everyone has a fantastic day amen
another clip they recreated in the incredibles was the one scene from spider man 2 where they’re trying to stop the train
Toy story was iconic XD
there’s no place like home from woody références the wizard of oz
Y'all act like Disney is the only studio to do this.
DreamWorks I think does this more so. I wanna see a DreamWorks list now.
@@bighand1530 yeah!
Looking back at my childhood, I’m like how was I supposed to know?
You gotta appeal to adults too, y’know? Something that’s not easy to do when it comes to family friendly movies
Man, I did not know
huh I always thought the mushu bit was a Batman reference cause of the way he looked and made his voice sound
Also the big bat wings/ cape, and the cricket posing like Robin.
Maybe Sid got scared because he scared of the movie the exorcist. Then when he saw Woody’s head spin he got really scared and never mean to toys again. Because he was scared that The toy would do that again.
What about the scene where Zurg says to Buzz Lightyear, "I am your father."?
knew a little of that but 3 of those insanely creepy to take in
I forgot toys story used a lot of popular scenes lol
Lol
No, I am your father!🤣
And what people are you rubbing shoulders with you don't know the plot of Hercules????
You forget about the star wars recreation from toy story 2
This is what was wrong with Lightyear movie!
Zurc was buzz's father like in the TV series but in movie he was buzz himself
It's too bad this focused on movies because Hal9000 was almost perfectly replicated in an episode of Recess as Sal3000. They even got the same actor to voice the robot.
Well, this is a list of refs in Pixar movies.
"References to Hal9000 in Other Movies' is a different list.
The Godfather is often being made fun of.
wait the guy with glasses thing is from batman 1989?
i know number 1
Can you upload Top 10 Disney/Pixar copied other movies? Includes the Princess and the Frog copied the Swan Princess.
That’s Disney only, not Pixar.
@@tigerlord9302 No no no, upload the next Mrsmojo video.
In Cars end credits scene, they were watching car versions of pixar previous films
Those were pretty funny
