      Really dude!!! This man was walking with his wife, he let his wife walk in the street and was hit. He was going 30 mph in a 35 mph He was not drunk. Love how the news twists thing. She should be getting a ticket for walking in the street Crazy how the news is so messed up. Lawsuit against the news channel all day. The lady was jaywalking. She had no reason to be walking on the street at all. This man was doing the speed limit when he hit her, but obviously you know the man he’s gonna say all kinds of crazy stuff about how he ran her over and killed her and revved it up and everything else, every person that drives the motorcycle rev it up just because it sounds like it’s going 100 miles an hour and it’s only going 5 miles an hour makes a big difference but the moral of the story is she shouldn’t have been in the middle of the street, not even a crosswalk so if you’re in the street and you’re not in a crosswalk then what does that tell you that tell you that she’s at fault no matter what

      That's a great idea if being drunk causes crashes. But it's carelessness that sometimes manifests as drunk and sometimes distraction of various sorts. It's about not taking one's responsibility as seriously as required to prevent killing or maiming others. We should stop deflecting and punish the individual whose action has harmed others -- in the same proportion to the harm they caused. That's how it would go if we were truly serious about making people more responsible and really reducing senseless accidents. But we won't because we're afraid it could happen to us and we don't want to have to pay the price. But we can control our drinking and driving so we'll just pretend we're serious by focusing on that.

    Did the Victim have Alcohol in her System? If a person is intoxicated and involved in an accident in Tennessee alcohol is a factor outside of instigation. For example: Someone gets rear ended but has been drinking. The offender is sober. The person rear ended is at fault. I don’t make the law. I’m just asking if the “victim” was intoxicated and if she was not, is there a possibility that this accident might have been avoided?

    • @Ssbad24
      @Ssbad24 5 месяцев назад

      I think laws like that are because if someone is over the limit they are not supposed to be on the road. The same way with driving without insurance puts them at fault.

      @bigbwatt7872 5 месяцев назад

      @@Ssbad24 100% But the Legal system has made it a money racket. Preventing fatalities is the “Stated” goal. The so called law is so rigid now that you can be arrested for DUI with 0.0 BAC. The death rate for alcohol related incidents (fact check me) has not changed since 1980 so it appears that even though the laws have become increasingly rigid the deaths are not coming down. We need a better approach.

    So if you come across my channel and think I seem hardest on bikes, this is why. When you step on, you're an ambassador to everyone that does not ride and if you have a party lifestyle, I have zero respect for you. If your crew allows it, I have no respect for them or their patch or their cut. It's a literal joke and no one is laughing. There is zero excuse for riding if you've been drinking.

    Sounds like this dude was pretty talented , worked for West Coast Choppers, John Force & Don Schumacher racing according to his web site. But alcohol will make you unpopular real fast. A few lives ruined because he thought he was invincible & because of his his decisions he made that day. Tragic. Prayers for the family🙏

    I wonder if he whiskey throttled most Harleys are set up so your arms are straight so when your in trouble hanging on for dear life there's not enough play in your arms to let off the gas. Dirt bike riders sit way up on the seat with their arms bent
