I absolutely love this machine. Unfortunately I can't go into a full squat, lunge or leg press. It seems I sprained the very top of my right quad. It's so annoying. Excellent video. Thanks.
@@prepcoachuk Thank you for the suggestion. I purchased a compression band for the area and it has helped significantly. Not only can I squat all the way without pain but I can finally add more weight to my workouts.
Since I can't back squat anymore, I started using the V squat machine. However, I'm not sure what is the correct foot placement. I've experimented and found that feet placed toward the top of the platform seems to work posterior chain whereas feet more forward, tends to work quads more. Is that a valid observation?
Perspective is funny. I am on the other end of this. 6'1 and I don't even know how to get into it. It's already in such a low position and for the life of me I can't seem to find an easy way. Feel like a duck trying to waddle into it.
That depends on the individual and their flexibility and mobility. If you have good mobility, you can squat deep, but make sure to avoid "butt wink" or rounding the lower back.
doing it this way allows us to target glutes and hams, if you face out the way you'll target quads, you can see our normal v squat tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/F5pS5LoWcDc/видео.html
The size difference between these 2 adult humans is immense.
😂😂😂
Best youtube comment ever 😂
Yeah worst only fans ever
That looks way more comfortable than a normal Squat .
I need this machine in my life ASAP !
superb piece of kit!
This is one of the better V Squats I have seen as it levers from the bottom. Most of them are garbage.

glad we can help, could always try occluded leg work to work around your injury before you're ready to load it heavy again

I wish you showed the feet placement. I’m struggling to find the best feet placement for hamstrings and glutes.
claras foot position can be seen in the video clearly from our end

Try zerchers squats too.. and this and the pendulum squat machine is good too...
And yes it dose..I noticed that.....further back you stand ...your Butt gets into it .. and hams... More of a hinge.
How can you use a v-squat machine but not be able to use a barbell?
What u recommend on this machine, reverse or normal v squat?
either or will work depending on your goal
How do you unlock the machine?!?!😢 helppppo
notice at start of video clara drives upward and moves the handle back toward her
Would I need to adjust the height? I'm 5'3. This machine looks intimidating at my gym.
Clara is 5'1 (on a good day), so the answer would be no 😆

My fav machine! (I’m 5ft)
What extreme gym is this? Nice tutorial btw
extreme gym 1
So why is there a huge ass pad there that looks like your back should be on it?
you can do it facing outward and target your quads, this is a tutorial of how to do it to hit you're glutes/hams
If you must buy one , which one will be ; hack squat or v squat ?
my personal preference would be hack but v squat more versatile so it depends really
Neither
Hack, unless you are super short then maybe V
is going all the way down, ass to grass, bad for your back in this movement?
yeah

If you're a beginner, just stick to the barbell. There are far more benefits than using machines.
does this legs bigger?
it'll work you glutes/hamstrings
Aren't you facing the wrong way? How come every video shows it this way instead of the right way?

@wushuhsu That's why it's called reverse bud...lol
Nice
wouldnt this replace this barbell squat
not quite, we're mostly trying to hit glutes/hams here, barbell squat very much quad movement one could argue
Ay yo da hell? Just how tall is he? Or how short is she? I'm so confused
6'3 and 5'1
Precore?
unsure bud, extreme gym 1 Glasgow but kit was unbranded
