Somewhere in the 90's i was in a (multi) movie theatre and one or two theatre next to mine was doing the advertisments (commercials)... Levis and Stiltskin was on and i could clearly hear the advertisment of jeans... this was just a great way of advertising 501 ! Our theatre was rocking and banging thanks to this music. One of the best commercials EVER !!
Right up until you heard the rest of the song. This was around the same time that Levi's used Babylon Zoo's Spaceman after all and the rest of that (the bits they didn't use) was rubbish.
I remember a year after the first album came out in the UK they released a Greatest Hits Album. Which was just the first album with the track list in a different order. Blatant Record Co cash in 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
That’s so great to have done this merging video editing between the advertisement and the official clip. I really like this song and the advertisement is one of the most sensual ever… a perfect fit between pictures and sounds to turn very hot and sensual the action scene, without any piece of vulgarity…
One of the great Scottish Number Ones of all time. Was watching TOTP the other night...good to hear this track again. Nowadays...if you believe something and folk tell you that it ain't so...this is the track to inspire you...don't keep it all inside...
Loved this song, very Bananarama - Anything, anything Edit: Dramarama ofc 😂😂😂 made myself laugh out loud from my brain dead attempt at just writing a simple band name correctly, that i actually do know 😂 ffs 🤦
@@MaxBondarenko HA HA HA wtf, why did i write Bananarama 😂😂😂 this made me laugh out loud. I listened to the song just 5 mins before posting and 100% know their name 😂 too funny.. Oh i don't remember it from that, cool.
Anyone know what the story was when the guitarist kicked Ray Wilson in the head during their MTV Most Wanted live performance from 1994 ? ruclips.net/video/8chN93Dx1_4/видео.html (It's around the 3m50s sec mark, but they were aggroing each other all the way through)
The presentation of this put-together band could've been so much better if they'd made the bassist a guy with either waist-length hair or dreadlocks who could've worn a band t-shirt, ripped jeans and have a flannel shirt tied round his waist, while headbanging outrageously. The bassist in this video looks like a bit of a prat, and they could easily have scored scene points with a proper grebo on bass (what different would it have made? the drummer recorded all the music by himself). I feel they had a missed opportunity to look more hardcore here.

just a couple of corrections if i may "we take to flight" "Losing my way" "as the ice comes down" thanks so much for posting the lyrics to this track that I still sing to myself in my purposeless walks around my city - it really has a different, dark romantic poetic vibe that grunge totally lacked (yes, even Nirvana, at least in their music) that can be heard in the lyrics and the low , careful way the verses are sung...fabulous stuff. Cheers!

I despise your "story". Which never happened.
Back when adverts were so good even the music became a hit
Back when you could hear 10 different music genres in top 10s of music charts...90s last best decade
Right up until you heard the rest of the song. This was around the same time that Levi's used Babylon Zoo's Spaceman after all and the rest of that (the bits they didn't use) was rubbish.
True! Back when advertisers didn't yet realize shocking people and disgusting them worked better than Showing Beauty and ART.
Exactly 💕
Thinking of that Guinness advert.
Was an amazing headbanger. One of the best rock 90s classics
I remeber this commercial from the 90´s,. Great song! I love it
This one track held the promise of great things .... that never materialised. Shame. Shit hot track. Still love it today
The band were just assembled by the advertising agency to score the advert.

Last great Levis ad
Great bass on this song 🤘🏼
Levi's commercial was added, wonderful. This was a great song but they didn't make one more song like this.
Love this song
This is really great work. Levi's and Stiltskin would be proud.
Masterpiece
This Levi's ad changed my whole life
How ?
Fantastic! Gonna have to learn to play this bad boy

I forgot all about the advert 😂🤣😂🤣😂 The song popped back into my head the other day and I had to look it up. So glad I found this video 😂😂
Same. Yesterday i had a flashback from the choir in the beginning. All i knew was that it was a Levi‘s commercial😂
Inside still in 2024 it's so good...

@@fermoer3814 because they can't agree how to split the money, so nobody gets any money. Record industry shit.

Snowfall turns to rust
Seam in a fusing mine
Like a nursing rhyme
Fat man starts to fall
Here in a hostile place
I hear your face start to call
And if you think
That I've been loosing my way
That's because I'm slightly blinded
And if you think
That I don't make too much sense
That's because
I'm broken minded
Don't keep it
Inside
If you believe it
Don't keep it all inside
Strong words
In a Ganges sky
I have to lie
Shadows move in Pairs
Ring out from a bruised postcard
In the shooting yard
Looking through the tears
Out of the black slate time
We move in line
But never reach an end
Fall in a long stray town
As the ice comes round
River starts to bend
And if you think
That I've been loosing my way
That's because I'm slightly blinded
And if you think
That I don't make too much sense
That's because
I'm broken minded
Don't keep it
