I sure hope it will be able to render games at higher resolutions like software emulation can do. While I'm not crazy about how higher resolution rendering looks on the N64's competition from the era, it makes N64 games look so much better. Even just 480p is going to give the polygonal graphics a nice boost before being upscaled to 4K.
Absolutely fantastic video! Just for the other commenters, it’s very unlikely that it’ll output beyond native res - it uses original cartridges that will only run in the original resolution. But I’m betting the CRT masks will be the best ever seen with authentic phosphor bleed and bloom. And the image options will be deep and very customisable.
I really hope it's actually part emulated so the native res is higher and the framerate in particular, because I dont see appeal with 240p-480i boasted to 4K with many games running like shiet...
Pointless now since so many hdmi mods are available…why would use a piece of junk made in china vs Nintendo’s original console with light modification.

The best mod for the n64 is the ultra hdmi and including installation the total cost is about $500 where as the new analogue n64 is only $219
