My mother took care of me for over 40 years with Reiki, and I've been practicing Reiki for 30 years myself and now taking care of my children and friends when asked ! I'm glad you do too ! And I'm a photographer as well, so again, I'm glad you do too !! Now I just have to get my first bass, hopefully within the end of the week ! All the best to you !
Hi Cici, could you give a now update please as to what's happening with Red Giant, I was looking forward to seeing you at Newbury beer festival but I read that it isn't to be. Massive bummer for me
The house looks fab! Very cosy. So glad you and your family are getting back in your feet. These things always take ages - when we bought our place, it was an absolute car crash! The living room, spare bedrooms, and gardens were construction sites for about 2 years! We literally lived in our bedroom, and the kitchen! Loving the photographs too - keep up the good work! And good luck with the new projects 🙂
Random thoughts while watching. Camping in the house. Good to see you looking smiley in the new specs. You will look back on this time with mixed feelings. You do have a very good eye with your piccies. You definitely will do justice with the new heavy camera, and the new heavy band. Have fun with the Reiki. I'm doing Taiji energy work (for arthritic stuff), which is definitely on the same page of the map book. Lovely to watch you grow. More power to you Cici!
Lovely update Ms P. Totally agree, things happen for a reason etc. Video quality and glasses both fab. Items in the woods….spirits leaving you tokens. Pop in for coffee if you find yourself nearby. Away from painting I’m playing my guitars again…at last. I like photography too, so will give you a follow on the IG. Take care and bye for now. Hugh.
Hello It's great that you make such a cozy and not contrived documentary video. I have followed you and Dave and seen your music video blogs. I admire your music making and artist performance. I bought The Dave Simpson trio album a fantastic heavy blues rock with a psychedelic element and emotional blues ballads. All three of you in the band form a tight and dynamic unit. I play some rock, blues, psychedelic music and jazz-inspired mainly on electric guitar. Also freelances as a photographer. It will be both a job and a hobby. You seem to be a genuine artistic person. Good luck with your continued career and happy that you are starting photography. Ulf/Uffe Stockholm👍❤

Keep positive,Keep moving forward and sharing your talents.Your a beautiful person and We love you in my Household. You take care, much love and support. Your Awesome !! Knoxville Tn. USA
Nice update, Carina, and I dig your house. It looks quite cozy! Glad to see it's all coming together. Just followed your IG photo page and looking forward to more. Cheers!
Thank you for posting. I am impressed to learn of your expansive interests since the last episode. Photography is indeed a gift. I've never had an eye for subject matter. Then again, my eyesight has always been somewhat of a lemon. I am most intrigued by your pursuit of becoming a Reiki practitioner. If your hands can produce notes that can shake the ground, then it stands to reason that those same hands can heal. Those are cute frames! You appear studious, yet fun all at once. Albeit at a snail's pace, your house is shaping up nicely. Binging the Harry Potter films is a favorite pastime of mine as well. Some years ago I took the Sorting Hat Test, and was placed in Ravenclaw. My nephew, who introduced me to the Potter universe, was disappointed he got placed into Gryffindor. He completely identifies with Slitherin, because of Snape. The preview of your most important musical endeavor to date sounded amazing! A very clever tease to say the least. Enjoy the remainder of the weekend. Cheers!
Great video and thank you for the update. Looks cosy in your front room, a nice place to be especially when you remember that it’s the people in the room that make it such a great place. Really loving your photography, stunning images and really well put into your video. Your glasses do look good and if I may be so bold, you look very beautiful both with and without them. 🙂
That’s better, can’t beat a roof over your heads however humble it is - if it’s cozy that’s all that matters! Very interesting to hear about your new projects, I’ve already seen your instagram and followed, I enjoy photography myself so can appreciate the quality of your work. As always enjoyed your outro, and intrigued by what your new band is going to be doing!
It might be a work in progress, but it's home. Loved the photos Cici and also the fact that you're getting a good word put in for you! Thank you for this update!
its good to see you smiling after all that has occured. its going to just keep getting better and i have a feeling you will end up being better off than you were before!
Welcome "home" (playing Sanitarium is optional at this point). Not ideal but being in a partly-fixed home is a lot better than spending the winter in a caravan. Also, some nice photos; well done. One minor tip, if it's an available option: re-set the auto-focus to single point for nature work, oterhwise you may get frustrated with it focusing on things adjacent to the thing you want it to focus on. That can mean a bit more work on selective cropping to sort out the final composition, but it's usually worth it. Also also, congrats on the launch of the new project.
I didn’t know any of this happened. I’m so sorry. But I’m wishing you the very best of luck in your future endeavors. From what I see you’ll be a shining star in the photography business too. All the pictures are beautiful.
Glad to see a somewhat positive update. You always seem to keep a smile about you no matter how tough things get. LOVE that quick sample of the heavy music. Peaked my interest immediately. Keep hanging in there. I still believe you are meant for global success and recognition with your music and bass playing. It’s coming. Just get through the crazy down times and be prepared when it finally catches you.
Your photography is amazing, on the same level as your music. It is such a joy and privilege to check your photos on instagram. Just keep up your wonderful art
Glad your house is starting to take shape. I did wonder after the recent floods whether you'd been hit again. Thankfully not. Looking forward to the new band. New camera much sharper and Dave free!!!!
Thanks so much Tony! We nearly did the other day, but filled some pillowcases with sand and managed to stop it! Never happened in 125 years and then nearly twice in one year!! Something must’ve changed up in the village. Haha Dave was at least here while I filmed it!
Glad to see you are doing better.clarity and color saturation is awesome on the new camera. Can't wait to hear your new music. I would like your insta channel but I don't do social media, sorry. P.S. there are fans that go on and work from the heat of the stove. Might help. Looks like photography might be your thing too. Rock on 👍👍✌️🤘🎵🎵
Lovely video C. Generous of your sharing and so happy you are back in your lovely home. Loving the photography path too! Wishing you every luck and inspiration with that.
I lived in my house for about five years with bare floors, at first out of necessity and the effort and cost of getting flooring done but eventually because I didn't mind it. It was quite cold in the winter, though. wind just blew up through the gaps.
Well congratulations on getting back into the house ... it might not be completely done but at least if you can make yourself comfortable that is all that matters. Oh and a new camera is so cool! I've just recently got into photography. I studied art in university but I was a painter. As I've moved on from college days I rarely paint any more due to life and work and such and I started taking photos of bands when I was hosting house concerts. I really enjoyed the process and I eventually upgraded from a point and shoot to a DSLR and just lately I've upgraded to a mirrorless camera that takes video also. So that is fun. I've already followed your Instagram page. Your photography is really wonderful. The old bottles in the back garden remind me of my childhood. My parents bought a parcel of land in rural New Hampshire and built our family home back in the 60s. So growing up at the base of my back yard was an old stone pit that turned out to be the old landfill or dumping ground for the farm that the parcel of land my parents bout was carved out of. So I spent a lot of time digging up old bottles and dished and cutlery that had been buried since the 1800s/ I felt like Indiana Jones digging up treasure amongst the rocks and the barbed wire fences. I used to bring my bottles to flea markets on the weekend and there were antique dealers that would help me identify and date some of my older bottles. It's great fun!!
I love your new glasses. Good luck with all of your new ventures. I have lusted after your new camera for a long time because many of my astronomy friends use it for astronomy photography and it's absolutely phenomenal. I've also heard from videographers that the video quality they're getting from it is on a par with their £20,000 pro video equipment. When they filmed my segment for the Sky at Night TV show earlier this year, one of the cameras they used was that one as well, so you have made a really excellent choice 🥰 I am so excited to hear your new band and can tell I am going to love the music
Ahh thank you so much Mary! :) That’s amazing to hear, I did a lot of research as I wanted to futureproof myself as much as possible! If it’s of any help, Sony have this camera on sale until the 31st October, and I got it on a pay in 3 option, so I’m still paying it off and selling things to finance it. I really hope you get your hands on one soon, I think you’ll love it :)
Just checking in Cici. Hope you are doing well. Feels like you have had a lot of stuff to sort through with the flood and Red Giant and starting your own band. Hope you are keeping in good spirits and healthy. Peace!
@@stevedunn2621 Thank you so much Steve, yes there’s been a lot going on, particularly health wise, not just with myself but with a few family members including my sister, which is extremely scary. On the bright side I am now on a waiting list for therapy so should learn some helpful new life skills :) Hope all is well with you?

background - i am german and i always thought us germans were not overly popular in the uk (and most parts of the world, too)

i hope you manage to get through winter without hassles, all the best to you
The glasses take 10yrs off…. No sorry that came out wrong. They look very nice.

Learn to use the camera in Manual mode, Space is plentiful so shoot a lot.

Hope you enjoy photography. I also love both. Photography is easy if you can control light and composition! (Perhaps not that easy… 😅). Already following you in Instagram!
