Agree: Range Rovers have that quintessentially British quality... that "wafting along" kind of float, that no other [luxury] car manages to get. Not even the more expensive German ones are on a par.

One of the best things about Range Rovers is the driver's seat position. I had a 1984 Range Rover 3.5 ltre, V8 Petrol SE, model in Africa. At the time,I lived on a farm, 34 kms(18 miles) from the capital, along a major arterial road leading north. Consequently there was a lot of Heavy Goods traffic to deal with, mostly 18 wheelers. In the wet weather they would throw up really quite dense clouds of spray from their massive wheels. It was so bad that even with windscreen wipers on maximum, drivers of ordinary saloon cars would battle to see the road ahead, but in a Range Rover one sat high enough to be above the
"sprayline"...!! "Living Room" comfort with Genuine Off Road superlative capabilities..!

I also like how well the AWD system rotates under power if you crank the wheel over and floor it. It also rotates super well under brakes (I autocrossed one at a Jaguar/Land Rover promo event).

Can’t go wrong with either of them. I can tell u the last 4 rovers I’ve owned, did not have warranties and they have been amazing, Aslong as u maintain them, they are actually solid, little shit here n there; but nothing as far as reliability, amazing in snow and rain, comfy, fast, looks great, my last river had almost 140k miles, we bought it with 80k and in the 60k miles we added, only changed the brakes, rotors, oil changes, and a starter went bad, overall was the best SUVs I’ve owned, I’ve owned all the luxury SUV, navigator black label, Escalade platinum, qx80 Infiniti, Lexus lx570, gls550, gls63, I still have the rovers :) afford the Maintenance and you will be fine.

The seating position, startup sound, air suspension, sound system and lastly smell of that genuine leather interior I haven’t found in any other brand. @@TedwardDrives Yeah guess it was just late this year, I remember you having several snow drive videos last year from December through Jan.
Just saw someone else comment about the snowfall too so hopefully we get a couple of those videos this year before spring rolls around!

What do you think of the 2022 Range Rover interior? I feel like they went with the lazy route like the new S class.

@@alh06 The interior being based around a screen. There's no "art" to it, if you know what I mean. It doesn't look sculpted or luxurious, imo. To me at least, it just looks like using a screen as an excuse to make an interior plain (moreso for the S Class than the RR)

I own a car like this and I can say that it is fabulous. And in the completely dynamic setting the drive is spectacular. And with absolutely all the options, it is unique in the segment. I tested it before buying other models from the competition and I can honestly tell you that the feeling in this car is hard to describe, in a positive sense. I often read comments from viewers about the reliability of the brand. But I wonder, when you buy a car, do you buy it for how it breaks down or for how it runs? ... I mean, after all, reliability is a recoverable thing, but performance? I mean, like buying a car because it's reliable, but you don't really like it? How else can you fix this then?
