No es cierto, estuvo y triunfó Viña del Mar. Volverá el 2020 después de pocos años, es difícil que la organización del evento lo haga tan seguido si no fuera realmente buena y popular. Ahí podrán ver cuanto la quieren en Chile.

Cómo dicen por ahí, nadie es profeta en su tierra, pero la verdad es que el mercado chileno es muy pequeño y muy difícil de conquistar. No se pueden comparar 18 millones de hab. de Chile con los más de 200 millones de México.
Por otro lado la banda que acompaña a Mon es fantástica; los arreglos y estilo retro, bien logrados...suenan y complementan perfecto!!
En México la apreciamos mucho, es uno de los hits en los karaokes locales!

Y la traducción decía yo ya no podía soportar tu falta de querer, el mensaje es un poco triste porque ella le pide explicaciones dando a entender que no comprende como de pronto la dejó de querer y diciendo que lo ama tanto que podía soportar estar con él aunque el no la quisiera... Muestra frustración, tristeza, coraje y claramente un corazón roto buscando que el vuelva.

4:10 What she is actually saying at the pike of her chorus is "yo aun podia soportar, tu tanta falta de querer", which translation is "I could still bare, your lack of love", which makes the song even more dramatic because even with all the bad she is saying she could had still hang on. Poniendo a parte su manera de buscar fama a costa de los problemas de Chile, esta mujer da asco
Blitzkrieg. Disculpa. Si Mon fuera otra tendrías razón en lo que afirmas. Me explico: que no te guste Mon como Cantante y que te desagrade su persona (lo que hace y dice) es totalmente válido y se ha de respetar (es tu opinión y gusto) pero, es inválido que digas: "su voz es mediocre y mala" porque, el Canto es algo objetivo, técnico y no cuestión de gusto: se canta bien o se canta mal; es así de claro y punto. Mon Laferte canta excelente; es afinada, posee un gran registro y mucha riqueza vocal. Han existido pocos Cantantes como ella (con una voz tan llena de riqueza y tan versátil)... es genial disfrutar de alguien con esa voz.
Tu error es equivalente a que yo dijera que Luis Miguel "tiene mala voz" (que no me guste a mí, no tiene nada que ver con la excelente voz que posee).
Esto que te afirmo Blitzkrieg, te lo puede confirmar y demostrar cualquier Profesor de Canto. Si insistes en lo tuyo, nos estarías evidenciando tu escaso bagaje respecto al mismo o que tu opinión se sustenta en la pasión-emociones y no en la razón u objetividad como tal. Si queres ver verdadera tecnica, adelante, hay muchisimas bandas de rock y metal (Incluso kpop, y eso que odio el kpop) que la dejan en ridiculo a mon, y sin embargo muchas de ellas tienen menos apreciación (Powerwolf, Sabaton, y así, que por suerte estan creciendo a gran velocidad)

Dude, about a week ago, Mon just released a cover of a Chilean folksong called La Carta. It's one of the most emotionally devastating performances you'll ever see. All her sorrow and rage at current events back in her homeland of Chile come storming out.
There is a little but so important mistake in your translation... at the chorous she say: -if I could still "bear, endure, hold, put up with"... your lack of love. That phrase is the soul of her song.

It sounds like you have a translation of one of the inaccurate versions of the original Spanish lyrics that are on the internet. They read “yo no podia soportar” (I could not stand) when what she really sings is “yo aún podía soportar tu tanta falta de querer” which translates to something more like “I could even stand/tolerate/endure your such a lack of love.” Kuvico is right, it is so important to the song's meaning because it makes the faithless lover's betrayal that much worse in the light of her long-suffering loyalty. Many voice coaches have reacted to the stunning live versions of her original “Tormento” but you might want to check out her rendition of “Mi soledad y yo” (My solitude and I) by Alejandro Sanz, which she has performed only once, at a tribute banquet full of industry types during the Latin Grammys. She knocks it right out of the park. There is also an early version out there of her song "Orgasmo para dos," done in more of a rock idiom, which is particlarly impressive as an example of her vocal chops.

@@blitzkrieg7353 creo que su voz es bueno no exelente. Pero toma en cuenta tecnica que han usado para darle mas sentimiento a esta cancion en especifico. Es muy dificil alo que veo por que en los coros los agudos largos y fuertes tienen que quedar a la par asi de fuertes bajando su voz.
Creo que es mas la dificultad en el tema musical que la voz.
Un ejemplo te podria dar es del grupo guns n roses. Tiene temas en la que es dificil puede sacar un cover sin hacer el ridiculo.
Me dan ganas de abrazar y consolar a esa mujer. Se ve que la hicieron llorar mucho. La barrera del idioma se rompe al ver a alguien cantar con las emociones a flor de piel como lo hizo la cantante.
