Then again she's crying more loudy. And finally she explotes with this powerful anger and pain in her raspy and broken voice. Amazing way of telling us the many phases of grief

She came to México with her boyfriend and eventually he abandoned her in a new country(México) absolutelly alone AND she had to rebuild herself AND start her career as a singer in México. Now she Is Chieleno-Mexicana she married with a Mexican and shu has a Mexican son.

I'm not really a fan of Mon but this is her legendary stage. At that point, she wasn't as big as an artist as she's right now, the venue she played at is small-ish but allows to make this kind of private feeling sessions. What amazes me is the fact that she was able to fully show her voice without it cracking while she's feeling all of these emotions after something so hard.

To know her story and the depth of the song and her pain makes the song more special it’s amazing how artists can translate there feelings and emotions through lyrics is amazing she is one of the most talented story teller alive the Spanish language to me is so much more impactful to one’s story!
My favourite song from her is La Trenza. Either alone or in duet with the equally amazing Natalia Lafourcade, both versions of this song are incredible.
And her incoming album bodes well, with two very strong singles in Tenochtitlan and 40 y MM.
