This right here, is when it ENDED. When Urb didn't fly back with the team, it was OVER. Ownership should've told Urb he didn't need to come back cause he was fired.
This was 'cause and THEN SOME'. Fire him here, you don't have to pay him a dime. Fire him here, you're legally covered as an organization. When your coach has lost the owner's trust barely two months in, just own the mistake and MOVE ON. Instead, they let him off the hook here and fired him in December.

I agree. Urban's apology was week at best. He did not take responsibility for what he did. He said they were trying to pull him out on the dance floor thus blaming "them." He also groped a 23 year old female. He ignored his part but apologized for being a "distraction" and saying it was stupid. He tried to minimize the outrageousness of his grandpa drunk self misbehaving with someone who could be his daughter thereby humiliating himself and his wife.

He must be trying to be a bigger NFL fail than Spurrier and Saban, combined. Easy to be a "great coach" when you have the lopsided talent margins you get as a coach at a top college program.
Considering the questionable things celebrities and pro athletes have done publicly I’m wondering why this has become such a big issue. I believe everyone involved in this incident was a consenting adult. Meyers wife has a right to be outraged by his public behavior, and everyone has a right to their opinions but I don’t think any laws were broken.
If anyone involved in this issue proclaims to be religious, then they have a problem that needs to be dealt with. If the NFL has some sort of moral clause in their contracts, which would seem to be the hight of hypocrisy, then they have a vested interest. Aside from all of that it seems to me it isn’t really anybodies business. What he did was really, really, stupid, but women have been making fools out of men since the beginning of time.
If stupidity was a crime the jails would be full.
