Hi, First, I would like to thank you for this great channel. Great playthrough, with good and explanatory comments. Around 42:45 you are about to remove a disrupt marker AND completing a Recover - but you regret. My question is whether one can carry out the two actions at the same time at all (paragraph 2.6)?
I don't think I did that? You can only perform one action. Maybe you missunderstood me when I used one action each with two soldiers? If you have the time stamp for the examples I'll be able to tell for sure. Thank you!
I just bought a copy of the game online. Look forward to playing it in a couple of days. Also, when the mortar is placed on to the board i did not think it can then do an action. Is that correct? 25:01 on video
@@WW2SolitaireBoardGameChannel Not yet just getting into war style board games. But i have looked at it. I edited my comment above and asked a question. Is that correct?
Looks like you got rushed. One thing to keep in mind, 7 is the most common roll for 2D6. If you fail to suppress you dont l loose your remaining suppression tokens? I like that.
At one point you fire at an SS soldier in a yellow spot from a black location and you put a non Tankist in the space reserved for tankists in the gatehouse.
Note that the 2 positions on the left side in the gate house may fire in to yellow OR black, being of two colors. There is no space reserved for a tankist in the gate house. There is however a space with a mounted machine gun, and only a tankist may use the machine gun. If you out a standard counter there without the tank ability, it can only use it's normal attack and surpress.
I think you made a mistake when you first rolled the 4 dice against the Gate House @ 6:04 you rolled a 6. The rules say "If at least one of the dice rolled is EQUAL to or higher than the locations Defense Value, reduce the Defense Value by one" I'm only saying because I've just got the game. I've read the instructions and now watching a playthrough.
Awesome. Thanks so much for filming and sharing!
No need to thank me, it was enjoyable even though I got bested 😁
Oh, my gosh. I had to laugh as you were barraged with position 7s.
Haha, that's my usual "luck" 😅
When you said you didn’t have anyone in the yellow spaces, you had Sutton on the half yellow/half purple space, mate! You did yourself dirty! Haha
ah damn! Fog of war! :D
This looks amazing.... loved your video so much! I bought the game last year, but am just now getting it to the table. Wish me luck!
Thank you very much! Good luck mate! My advice is to spam suppression with besotten Jenny!

Thank you for the nice comment.
The answer is no, maximum 1 actions per soldier each round!
And sorry for the late reply.
I am eagerly awaiting Soldiers in Postmens Uniforms😁
Yeah that's going to be epic!
Me too!
On some early turns you suppressed and fired in one turn. I thought you get only one action per turn? Btw, Great playthrough thanks!

Thanks for replying! Yes I think your absolutely right. I watched again and I have misunderstood. Sorry about that! Lol

It's really something special! Have you played Pavlov's House? Otherwise that will be the next step!

@@MrMadmanUSA SS machine guns and mortars will always try to surpress when they come in to action.
@@WW2SolitaireBoardGameChannel thanks I was wondering that.
Which is the most complex solitaire you have played?
Probably Pattons best with a complexity rating of 3.20 on bgg
Well done mate.
Thank you Sir! And what an epic and wholesome channel!

Yeah this one is hard. No you only lose the suppression tokens that you dedicated. So if you choose to use 3 suppression tokens, only 3 can be lost 😊
