Great review! I’ve been looking at DVG games to add to my newly growing Wargames collection. I hear the “Commander” series is good, too. (Apache Commander, etc). This looks really good on the squad level of play. Then there’s Pavlov’s house. Choices I tell ya! Thanks for the Review. Love the end 😝👍🏼
I really like this one too. And you're so right about that suppression effect--it's easy to discount at first. The game is quite similar to *Pavlov's* *House,* by the same designer. I'm glad I have both of the games, but I could see someone only wanting one of them too. Meanwhile, does the Castle Itter battle call out for a movie treatment, or what?
There is definitely a movie here, for sure. I haven't played Pavlov's House yet, but I'm very interested in it now. From what I've heard, Itter is more intuitive.
I dont mean to be so off topic but does anyone know a tool to get back into an Instagram account? I somehow forgot the login password. I would love any assistance you can give me.
@Marc Allen I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and im trying it out now. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Thanks Cody this looks like it my be my first pick up in awhile along with that Warhammer 40k solo one! :) I'd love to see you stream it and maybe get your first victory! Actually, I see you have one up! Why do I only get some notifications from your channel? o.O
@@TheDiscriminatingGamer Yup I already have it set to be my dinner watch and I found your top ten solo vid that I also missed so I'm watching that now but Cody I gotta say, Eldritch only #10? What would Fortune and Glory think??! :)
Seems like this and Pavlov's house are DVG's answer to the States of Siege. Both look pretty cool but I think Pavlov's House has gotta be the choice because of the Operational stuff. Maybe the different unit types are what make this one more interesting though?
Your video helps me explain games to family who don't always appreciate them without your help!
Fantastic! Happy to help!
Very enjoyable game.
Indeed.

Thank you, sir. Glad you enjoyed it!

Cody: “somethings were unclear to me”. NASA: we are unable to decipher this....
Ha!

I haven't played Pavlov's House, but would like to. Indeed, this game feels very much like a States of Siege game.
If you like Castle Itter, you'll love Pavlov's House.
That's what I hear. Looking forward to hitting it at some point.
Actually, that last line goes "...And Goebbels had no balls at all."
I guess it loses something in translation.
Are you still developing a game with a publisher? I remember you talking about it but I can’t remember if you brought it up again.
I am, but it has not been a priority for me with school. However, I defend my dissertation in a few days.
The Discriminating Gamer Good luck!
Looks nice. Another game to add to the 'i can't afford list'. Lol
Ha!
