- The lost songs of Rent composer Jonathan Larson will hit the stage in the upcoming concert series The Jonathan Larson Project at Feinstein's/54 Below, October 9-14. With an all-star cast made up of Nick Blaemire, Lauren Marcus, Andy Mientus, Krysta Rodriguez, and George Salazar, the concert will feature songs Larson wrote that haven't yet been popularized. Here's a preview of one such number, titled "Greene Street."

We truly lost a legend when Jonathan Larson passed away. This song totally encapsulates the joy and fun he must have had creating the next generation of musical theater. It is truly a shame that he is gone. Thank you to the people that managed to put this album together so that now we have Tick tick boom, Jonathan sings Larson and this to be able to understand his pre rent genius.
George looks so happy the entire time and its the cutest thing ever. His voice is just- Argghhh I cant describe it. Its amazing

I strongly applaud Director Jennifer Ashley Tepper for pairing up these wonderful Jonathan Larson songs with five talented and amazing performers, Nick Blaemire, Lauren Marcus, Andy Mientus, Krysta Rodriguez, and George Salazar, each who brought a strong presence and passion on each of the 8 shows I attended. A extended run and soundtrack album are necessary, so that Mr. Larson's incredible music may be shared and cherished by fans. THE SHOW MUST GO ON!

Everyone is watching this for that one person admit it
I wish one day enough of his works are recovered to produce one more complete musical. It would even be nice to see Jonathan's first musical, Superbia finally see the light of day in some form or another. Either as an off Broadway musical or independent film (hopefully directed by Lin-Manuel Miranda).

Unpopular opinion; I’m not a fan of Georges voice
I usually love his singing but not really in this song...?
I'll concede that George's voice doesn't come across that well....and that's surprises me! I saw the show multiple times and his voice shined along with the rest of the performers throughout the show. On Green Street, as well as "Iron Mike", "Pura Vida" and others.

I think it's because he's slightly off-key in the beginning of his line, but (I'm trying to be non biased here) he usually has a better voice.
