I refuse to argue with a man that I'm not in a consistent and committed relationship with. I used to do it years ago with guys that was temporary and then I realized I am wasting time sticking around if my words are saying I'm bothered. Being a USPS employee for 8 years, PostMasters do stay busy and every office is run differently but I dont know of any PostMasters working Sundays or 17 days straight when they're on salary pay...annual pay is about $100,000 or more plus all the bonuses etc so the $250 could've easily been gifted to her if he felt anything for her...from seeing firsthand the outrageous things going on at the post office, he is either sleeping with a mail carrier, clerk or supervisor! That's the norm at the post offices which in turn brings chaos and drama! I live it daily! Mail carriers fighting over other carriers when they themselves are married, it's a mess! But I hope she finds the closure she needs in order to move on....

That "side stepping power struggle" advice was SOOOOO ON POINT! That's why submission to each other is a MUST in relationships. But first you must respect and trust the person you are with. Tony made a good point about them not knowing one another and therefore not understanding certain responses. That takes time and having phone or face to face conversations. You cannot properly gauge someone's mood through a text message, so they failed by having a serious discussion through text. They were acting like teenagers who don't understand the rules of dating. And this business of him being too tired to call is ridiculous! You are too tired to call or answer, but not to text back and forth? She's not the only one he's talking to. I almost ALWAYS prefer my man to call me when I'm tired or even send a voice note, verses the texting, because it requires my eyes to be open to read and reply. But back to my original point, the power struggle has to stop between men and women in order to have a healthy and happy relationship. When you are confident and know who you are on top of respecting and trusting your partner, this won't be a problem.
