- This once a month grocery shopping trip was a good one. I've found some new favorites at Dollar General and the Pick 'n Save (Kroger) digital coupons were really good ones and gave me an opportunity to buy some special fun foods at a great price.
Favorite recipes are in my 2 cookbooks (150 recipes in each) and I'm always coming up with new things we really like, like the broccoli and cauliflower soup. I can see eating that every Friday during Lent. See below for most of the recipes. www.acountry-l...

I can’t believe how expensive groceries have become.
It’s getting worse. We are spending double what we used too. Trying to do my best but it’s crazy. I’m really worried for so many as we move forward hopefully something changes.

Canned mushrooms at Aldi used to be 79 cents a can. Today, they are $1.19. What??? Thanks for your haul. We’re all in sticker shock. ❤️ Side note … your crusty mini loaves are amazing and not carb free. ❤️ By the way, the cookbook I found that little poem that spoke to me for you is in Favorite Recipes of Sokol Minnesota. The forward says it’s a gymnastic society for tots to adults. And it’s Czech/Slovak. Because some of your viewers might not have read it, I’ll share it again. I hope you don’t mind.

First, let me say I really think you're a fabulous mom to remember what each family member has asked for and treat them to that one special item. I'm finding your grocery hauls are so educational for me as that is the first store I go to, then if they don't have what I need, I can go on to the next store. As a widow and empty nester, I like to shop once a month for just me, but these prices here in Illinois are so much higher than your Aldi! And you find products our Àldi doesn't carry. Yes, keep those grocery hauls coming so I can add your findings to my Aldi list. Helps me immensely. You are looking younger and slimmer each video. And you have the stamina to go to 3-4 stores and a take out place in one day. Do you have a Costco or Sam's club near you? With your large family, they have the same price per ounce from Aldi to those stores but in bigger sizes. Thanks for all you do. Love to the family♥️

Hello Jennifer 👋 Groceries are so expensive everywhere! I shop for 2 weeks and it was $250 but now it's $400. Here in Alaska we don't have the stores that you do, so we are quite limited. Your haul was awesome!

Wow, my eyes would bulge, too! We are starting to see some prices coming back down in Northern Illinois on eggs and milk, but I am a bargain shopper like you and watch my pennies!
Eggs were $2.69 at Aldi today and milk was the same. Butter is $4 a pound.

The pork tenderloins from ALDIs are wonderful and priced well at $3.97/lb. They usually have several different flavored loins. We’ve enjoyed all of them. They cook quickly and the meat is always super tender. We love these for a quick entree with oven roasted potatoes, a salad or other veggie.

So glad I stocked up on a lot of non perishable foods back to in 2018-2020.. I have been living off my stockpile for a while now. Not licked yet. If you want a good deal those meal delivery services can be a really good deal when you want fresh meat eggs cheese and bread products

Love too see grossorie hauls. The prices here in Sweden is going up like crazy this days. A milk 1L used to cost 8-9 swedish crowns( 1 dollar) now its almost 1.5 dollars. The tomatoes is about 6 dollars per kilogram...😅

I love watching grocery hauls. I subscribe to several channels from all around the world that do them all the time. With those in particular it's interesting to see what foods other countries have. Sometimes I am lucky and they do a shop-with-me in a foreign grocery store/shop. With US creators its nice to see what they might have that is unique to that area or maybe price differences. If you like doing them I will watch them!

My husband loves Folgers Black Silk coffee. The best price I’ve found is at Sam’s Club. Sometimes it’s in the instant rebate ad and you get an extra $4 off the club size.

I love Tillamook butter, cheese, and ice cream. It's made here where I am, and sometimes we can get a really good deal on it. Their ice cream is the best I've ever had. I still like grocery hauls. It's fun to see the different prices.
