  • This song, since it is one that I performed in the 7th grade at the Willow Springs Elementary School 7th and 8th grade talent show has a special meaning to me. Understand that 61 years ago when I performed this song I was still young enough to sing Elvis’s Soprano version of the song. That is not the case anymore, of course, as you will see and hear.
"Trouble" is a song performed by Elvis Presley in the 1958 movie "King Creole." Here are some key details about the song and its significance:

    3. The song has a bluesy, rock and roll feel, reflecting the influence of African American musical styles on Elvis's work.
    4. Significance in the Movie: "King Creole" is often considered one of Elvis Presley's best films, and "Trouble" is one of the standout musical performances in the movie. The song helps to establish the character of Danny Fisher, the troubled young man Elvis portrays, and contributes to the film's gritty, dramatic atmosphere.

This is my version of this song, and I hope that you enjoy listening to it as much as I have enjoyed recording it.
