Amazing cover of an extremely underrated song
Thank you very much!
That's just phenomenal. I think I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between your cover and the original
Wow! Thanks a lot! :D
0 dislikes for a fuckin reason, well done man, loved lullabies to paralyze
Thank you very much! And yeah, great album
that solo was insane 🙌🏽
Ahah glad you like it! QOTSA has a lot of cool unique solos
Sounds so FUCKING GOOD!
Thank you so much!
Sheeesh that tone is spot on! Amazing cover
Thank you very much!
You really nailed that “queens of the Stone Age” tone, great cover my guy
I tried my best! Thanks dude :)
One of my favourite songs, best of the album IMO. Can't believe it's not more widely covered.
Amazing cover 🎉❤
Perfect with such a Mammut sound. Extraordinary.
Thanks a lot! "Mammut sound"... I like that :D
Great cover. Really tight playing.
Thank you very much :)
Wow.. just wow. I wish I had the amount if skills that you have in your pinky. Amazing job
Thank you very much! Much appreciated :)
Thanks a lot for this video. It was a great quality cover to watch and helped me figure out this song quick
Thanks you very much :) I'm glad it helped!
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks!
Epic cover of an epic song..... great job dude 😎💪🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thank you dude! :)
You and slacker vk do a great job, especially on tone of course the playing is great aswell but i see so many peopel butcher the tone
Thank you very much! I tried my best to find a tone tha fits. QOTSA guitars have a ton of mids, I kept that in mind while dialing my amp tone and mixing. Glad you like it :)
This is amazing
Thank you very much!
BRAVO!
Thanks! :)
That was breathtaking... especially the outro
Oh you're too kind :) Thank you very much!
@@mattlefrip God knows how many times I would have watched the Belfort concert..the Natasha signature on this song is delightful!
The playing is spot on, but I'm commenting mainly on how good you have nailed the tone! Nice work! What is your signal-chain?
Thank you very much! I've listed the gear I used in the description ;) It's my guitar straight into my amp, picked up by the mic, a little bit of eq in post and that's pretty much it! I think the main thing for a QOTSA ish guitar tone is to let it have lots of mid frequencies
Bravo mate. You fucking nailed it.
Thank you dude :)
Great one!
Thank you!
Great job!
Thank you!
Awesome
Thanks!
Nice!!
Thank you :)
👏👏👏👏👏
Good work brother. Most accurate so far
Glad you liked it, thanks! Btw I am pretty sure Qotsa doesn't use drop C tuning as I did for that song, most likely C standard
HELL YES \m/
Thanks! :D
IL MAGO. way to go friend
Thank you dude :)
Incredible man. What gear are you using to get that tone? It’s spot on
Thank you very much sir! I just added the gear in the description ;) There's also a little bit of mixing in post to make my guitar sit well in the track
Imho the main thing when trying to sound like QOTSA is : plenty of mid frequencies!
420 likes-nice
Hehe :D Next milestone is 666 likes
I would do anything to get that tone aha
Pump up the mids and you'll get it ;)
que buen cover, no le pides nada a josh homme
Gracias my friend! I'm glad you liked it :)
Can you do a lesson on it because I can’t find any good tabs
I am sorry but I don't do lessons yet. Also I played that song in my own way. I used a drop C tuning but I am pretty sure the Qotsa guys are in C standard on that song. I hope you'll find a way to learn it
isn't it just the original song playing?
No it is not! Listen to it with headphones or stereo speakers, you can hear my guitar right in the center (QOTSA guitars are on the sides)
@@mattlefrip haha I know it is not... it was just a compliment because you played very well bro :D
@@leaaandro1555 Lol! I totally missed the irony here :D I have had that comment once, not as a joke. So I thought "here we go again..." Anyway, thank you dude :)
@@mattlefrip I was in doubt if you would understand, in fact I copied this comment from another qotsa cover, I think it was a compliment ... well, it served as a compliment for me: D
Can you give us a lesson
I never really thought about it. You're actually the first person asking me this!
I just think that's would be really cool because I struggle to read tabs a I have not seen anyone do a lesson on it. You got the tone spot on.
@@ivanbabic661 Thank you man :) The main thing for a QOTSA-like sound is to have a lot of mids and not too much distortion. I don't use tabs that much either. They can be handy sometimes but they aren't always accurate. That's why using your hear is the best imo. Watching someone play and trying to reproduce can work too. About that song in particular, I play it in a different way then QOTSA does. As they use a C standard tuning and I am in drop C. I thought it worked great that way so I went for it
this tone is ridiculous
Thanks a lot! The main thing when you want to sound kinda like QOTSA : tons of mids!
Drop D?
Nope! It's drop C, as mentionned in the description
It's supposed to be C Standard
I know, I mentioned it in the description
Nice! Good skills 👌Think you’ll like my guitar videos actually!
Thank you! I'll take a look to your channel ;)
