Still my favorite.
Tuning: Standard C
Album: Queens Of The Stone Age (1998) - Видеоклипы
probably the most accurate cover besides the guy with the actual ovation which is saying something
nice. been watching a few of your vids fascinated by your accuracy.
Agreed, this is probably qotsa 1# album best track
with You Can't Quit Me Baby
Regular John
Walking On the Sidewalks is another hard hitter for me. Love the last two minutes despite there being little variation
The bronze is my fAv
I love covers like this that clearly show you the way so that you don't have to sit through a tedious tutorial. You're the man bro 👌
This is remarkably spot on. Mistakes, slips and all.
Hey, thanks for that. One of my all time favorites. Keep crankin them out dudel saves the rest of us work, haha.
Gotta be the greatest feeling to play that. You killed it
Man, that was awesome. I don't say this often, just awesome, as it should be. Subscribed.
My favorite too. You have great taste.
Ah this sounds amazing! Great playing
Thats kick arse dude. Keep em coming!
Ya, I’m speechless. Nice shirt, and wallpaper too, dude.
Fantastic cover, spot on.

My favorite by qotsa as well. Nice cover dude!
Absolutely spot on 10/10
Wow so good 🤘🏽 thank you for sharing 🤙🏽
Extremely good and accurate, I enjoyed that, now gotta try to play that good lol.....I’ll get it🤘🏼👍
thats tone 👿
Sounds really great! I'm having the toughest time getting that bend to sound just right lol..
When I first started playing this song, had the same problem. I was just bending the G string, not doing a B and G string unison bend. Not sure if this helps, but that helped me when I figured it oht
THANK YOU!!!
really nice thank you
nailed it!
awesome geezer
its hypnotizing
awesome
Awesome
Awesome men! Que bacan!!! 😀👍👍👍
Nice playing. I'm more into the shirt right now though :D
Yes
Perfection. Not much else to say. Mega-chad feeling I'm sure
Bang on
You should find a bassist and vocalist and mix your play along with that of Colm Dowling.
Dude Colm has the best sounding snare ever
chapeau bas
do you learn these songs by playing it by ear? or do you have tabs?
there is a slight delay. slight. but it's there.
Man how do you get your tone??
probably with a Catalinbread SFT, if analogic, or he has dialed up his recording software to sound just like them
@@CiceroMonteiro I have the sft and the pdf. It's a lot of money, but that combination satisfies 98% of the desired tone
I can get a tone close to Josh's with just a pair of humbuckers (I'm using the ones that came with my SG) and a Vox Tonelab ST.
Just crank your mids all the way up, tone down the treble, get a fuzz pedal and set the distortion to the lowest you can while increasing your amp's gain until it sounds right without clipping.
The brand of your amp also does matter. To get close to Homme's tone, you shouldn't use a tube amp.

What is that chord in the chous you play with you pinky???
Muy Nirvana. Genial!
Jajaja qué tiene que ver nirvana
I have different fingerings for it but sounds the same. 👍

When you do that bending part you just let it ring out, you don't strum it twice. It makes that effect on it's own.
what fuzz was used on this?
Is the track a remastered version? Sure sounds like it
Found multitrack on the Internet.
which mics and software did you use for this video ?
+harperlewis no mics. wavelab.
whats wavelab ?
+harperlewis you asked about recording software, i'm using steinberg wavelab.
What scale length is your guitar?
24.75
would 11-54 be an ok gauge to go for?
thespecialist429 I'm using Dunlop Heavy Core 11-50, so 11-54 is ok.
Floppy or playable?
thespecialist429 depends on how well you play :)
Dude where is "go with the flow?"
What tuning is this
You need to slide after bending :)
great cover, sweet shirt, pretty sad there was no 'shit' and gasoline, still well very done
