According to belt manufacturer you should not use brake cleaner to clear the clutch surfaces it can negatively effect belt proformance. Instead use alcohol or acetone. Also don't forget to properly break in you new belt before use.
How to do know what way the belt is supposed to go. My dad traded in one of these from a surf club and it’s in bad shape all of the steering components are rusted. The clutch spins when it loses traction and hasn’t been looked after and it’s a 2018.

What's the trick to get the seat belt bolt and nut off and then back on?
Is your seat belt broken? Is that why you want to remove it
Didn't pay attention to rubber seal on clutch cover, how does it fit back on
It will press back into place, but if it is damaged or out of shape, you may need to replace it!
