INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED:
recipe by shereen pavlides
1 pound (454 grams) all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 1/2 teaspoons granulated shugá (sugar)
8 fluid ounces (236 ml) ice cold water + more, as needed
3/4 pound (342 grams; 3 sticks) cold unsalted European-style butter

Can you use this same puff pastry recipe for the puff pastry around the wellingtons recipe ? Didn’t know if sugar still went in it.
One question. What is the difference between European butter and regular butter? European is not easily found in my area.

Damn it, I got excited when you said by hand. But you used a stand mixer. lol
You can mix the dough in a bowl, very gently just like the dough hook did to ensure the dough doesn’t get tough. Now , you have a visual as reference 😉

hey shereen, i love your videos so much! i have one critique from this video - when you are, or whomever is, editing your videos, could you double check the audio before uploading? the sheet tearing at 2:28 (volume warning) was actually quite startling lol.
