These babies choose to keep their head under water, most of time Mom is just swimming along but they too frkn clingy and lazy!

You know what is weird to me. For little spazzes outside of the water. They remain relatively calm when faced with drowning. No freak outs. No convulsions. Just hang on and then calming come up for a breath. It’s weird.

Lol I know I am like 4 years late, but I imagine it is from many hundreds of thousands of years of monkeys drowning. The ones that stayed calm probably had a higher chance of figuring their situation out and not drowning - so that behavior became actually beneficial to survival. Crossing water was likely something they had to deal with often, so the trait of staying calm in the water was selected for more often. Source - I like biology and just hit my vape pen.
