Unfortunately this museum was closed in December 2016, Presidents and First ladies auctioned off. Can you imagine having these creepy things in your home!?
I keep thinking of that Twilight Zone episode of the guy who kept all those wax figures of famous murderers until they came alive and killed him. Ugh.
I imagine they would've fucked up trump IF they had added him.
@@eric5906 haha or that movie The house of wax esp the recent one a few yrs ago with paris hilton that place creeped me out :O used to live in a town too that had a similar type movie theatre and my sister and I went to a movie the night after seeing that movie in tv :O went in and ppl sitting there all still and had a manniquin just inside the door nearly crapped ourselves lol

Man, the first ladies had me laughing my bum-bum off!! Some of them even looked the same. But I don't understand why they're so small. They looked like children in grown up clothes. Great video!!

Thank you so much for posting this. I am a presidents and wax museum fanatic-- but never was able to see this thing before they shut it down for good. BTW-- I am a product designer at Gemmy industries and I designed the Frankie The Fish you pack in your suitcase every episode.

I've been there multiple times I actually live about 10 minutes away from Gettysburg. If you ever go to Gettysburg again go to sack bridge at night it is really scary.
This place feels like a really weird historical cartoon my 6th grade history teacher would have shown us. lol

It’s like some thing is got paranormal relationships because every time you zoomed in on a president the camera would vibrate or just plainly jitter. Creepy
I was impressed, there were two little kids and a boy who looked maybe 12, and you could hear them talking the whole time but they were using their inside voices and not being loud and obnoxious. I just like seeing people, especially kids, talking quietly in museums.
These things would give you nightmares.
Hall of President's is way better in Disney World Orlando, but this was still good. Thanks!

Unfortunately they couldn't afford to keep the museum running and they auctioned off all of the wax presidents. I remember going to visit it every summer in my childhood, it's kind of sad. 🙁

These were great to see although some of the resemblances were fleeting at best. I think thats part of the charm of the exhibit. The munchkin first ladies were too funny!

Great video. I was going to ask if there was a website for their souvenir shop, but it seems to be closed now. I used to collect snow globes, not sure I'd want any of presidents though. Was just curious what other things they had available
William Henry Harrison served the shortest term of all. He caught pneumonia on Inauguration Day and died a month later.
Jimmy Carter looked like Dan Akyroyd as Jimmy Carter. Jackson looked like LBJ, they skipped Presidents Fillmore to Buchanan & B Harrison to McKinley.

Found a postcard of this attraction dated 1964. The wax figures were to be auctioned off.
Seeing the first ladies' section all I can think about is the 70's horror movie "The Tourist Trap" … creepy as hell!!!!!
I doubt seriously if the early Presidents talked like that, but since there was no recorded sound before the late 1870s, we have no way of knowing.
